Actually, it's supplementary schtick. I already have 180 degrees worth of schtick on my face.

If the arrangement includes certain flowers, including lilies, my sinuses attack me. Plus, I usually don't like the flowers in arrangements. I'm not alone in this, am I? I just think delivered flowers are a waste of money. I'd rather get a Hallmark card.

It's of course very hard to communicate this to people who send me flowers. It seems ungrateful. Oh, life is hard.
Hence the sending the damn things Monday, not tomorrow, and I know what kinds of flowers this person likes and does not like because, unlike your friends, I pay attention to my friends.

Could you say that I am completmentary to TM bc without me he is nothing? Bc I see that more of me fulfiling his mutual lacks or whatever the hell the second defnition was.
Yes, you could say that you and TM are complementary. You could also say that the wine was an excellent complement to the fish (or whatever); or that the belt was the perfect complement for the skirt -- you get the idea.

Oooh. Me too. It's so logical and perfect.

Not closely enough, bitch. I said to send me Champagne. I have no work to do since giving notice, anyway.

You are not alone. It is rare to see an arrangement that is really beautiful, but when they work, they're spectacular (like Teri Hatcher's boobs, if her character on Seinfeld is to be believed). I favor the "one flower" motif in general, though.

You may think so, but you would be incorrect. It means "to complete or bring to perfection".
