Now that Republicans are in the minority, it's not called that anymore. Instead, the stories talk about how the Democrats have failed to get the 60 votes they need to overcome procedural requirements, and bullshit like that. Actually, I still find the inability of anything to actually make it to an 'up or down' vote to be national disgrace. Unlike you and your ilk, I don't change my positions depending on who is saying it.

That said, the only thing that this lack of cloture has done is that it has given cover to a bunch of idiot Dems who huff and puff over issues, knowing fully well they'll never half to actually vote on them and answer to the folks back home.

As I have said in the past and will continue to say in the future the "mainstream" media has a strong liberal bias. It doesn't bother me when it comes to social issues but it really bothers me when it comes to military and ecnomic issues. I also think the main stream media favors the Dems. They usually spin things in the Dems favor (probably because most of them are Dems).
