just think- if not for our fighting men who gave their lives in the Vietnam war Peter wouldn't have the freedom to pen this fine rant. Thank you LBJ.

Don't be so glib. Seems to me the vets who didn't give their lives may have contributed more to Peter, statistics-wise. As Ann Coulter pointed out, at some point Max Cleland stopped contributing to the war effort and became more of a net-net-net loss. Think how much less was contributed by those who had all four limbs blown off when they jumped on a grenade.

Now that y'all have abdicated this role, it falls on us liberals to state the hard truths.

The ironic thing about Slave's new avatar is that when I first choose an avatar I wanted JW Black, except it wasn't available. Slave having it created the creative maelstrom that is Hank.

I think it's fair to say that when someone in 2005 uses the term "glib," subsequent reference to Tom Cruise will be double old-fashioned Whiffanetics.

The Astros are trying to kill me.

The Texans are beneath my contempt.

the Lions solidified their hold on the NFC North. I think the Ravens had more penalty yards assessed against them than what Harringotn threw for.

He'll get us far enough along to tease for the playoffs, and thus secure us a lousy draft pick.
