Chuck Gagliano, assistant vice president for housing and food services at Michigan State University, said he would never use such a justification.

"Gee, I've never tried that before," he said. "I can't ever imagine standing in front of a board of trustees ... and saying, 'This is the reason we have to raise food prices."'

Gagliano said he has not noticed Michigan State students eating more protein and fewer carbohydrates. "I'm not even sure they know what carbohydrates are," he said.

My favorite holiday movie is Christmas Vacation. I watch it every year. I love the part where the cat bites the Christmas tree lights.

I had never seen "It's a Wonderful Life" before about 3 years ago, but I guess I've seen it every year since.

Other holiday movies I should watch? I used to watch Rudolph and Frosty every year, but now I've grown tired of Burl Ives so haven't watched them in awhile.

"Bad Santa" is supposed to be pretty damned funny, though I've never seen it.

You can shave it without grazing. Its fairly easy. Slave can probably point you to an online pamphlet on it.

Actually, I think that sebby's "grazing" comment was an aside regarding the whole pain issue. It was about being hit in the balls, and wasn't about hair removal. He was saying, I think, that a glancing blow is sometimes more painful that a direct hit (which, apropos of nothing, is true in my experience as well).

That being said, I wouldn't have a clue as where to go to get a "back, sack, and crack" waxing -- I'm guessing the aestheticians at Help Me, Wanda's Beauty Emporium don't want to go there. (So to speak.)
