Vibrator Update

Because I know y'all were anticipating with bated breath the outcome of my vibrator dilemma, I wanted to let you know that I decided to purchase a Hitachi Magic Wand (found it online for $50 -- Woo-hoo!).

Holy shit. I don't think I'm ever going to need to use the higher speed. Low speed, 15 seconds, done. It's like the McDonalds of orgasms -- fast, easy and strangely addictive. Actually, I don't really like McDonalds, so for me it's more like the Chik-Fil-A of orgasms.

damn, now I'm hungry.

Edited to add: thanks to everybody who helped me out with recommendations....I love you guys. Well, some of you. But not as much as I love my magic wand.

It's either dingier places or over-the-top, see and be seen by a bunch of tools, dance clubs and bars.
I suggest you try the Redhead. It's a piano bar, but the music isn't too loud and doesn't interfere with conversation. The bar at Gene & Georgetti's is pretty quiet and it's nice. Also, the bars at the Fairmont, the Intercontinental, the Four Seasons fit the bill.

The last two times I've attempted to go, the line has been out the door. And I don't wait in lines for bars/pubs/clubs. Unless it's a late-night bar and I'm not drunk yet.

I don't mind a drink and dancing crammed in with a bunch of 22 year olds now and then, but, for the most part, I want to sit around and get several drinks in a comfortable place when I go out. That's what Chicago is missing, in my opinion. Sports bars, Irish bars, neighborhood bars, we have in spades. There are a lot of those, but they aren't always that nice. And I like the more top-shelf stuff, that these places don't always have.

Yep, there's an Irish bar on every corner. You're right though, either the places are look-at-me places, or they're frat clubs...not much in-between...I don't want to start about the lack of good Jewish delis...

The lack of a good Jewish deli is a major dilemma virtually everywhere outside NYC. Hell, I'd hardly visit the place except that I'd die from the lack of a decent bagel once in a while.

Ignore List Rants Were First Done In Ancient Greece

thought maybe more stylistic things could be "invented" here, because it seems like any word or phrase is found somewhere. So I googled "on my ignore list."

Note, I didn't find the following during some some normal time passing on a dweeb-a-web computer gaming freakathon. Although, somehow the content of the fantasy game underlying the rant makes it sound saner.
Anyway, Paigow's (you're on)/(going on) list, plus TM "why are you posting about nothing?" rants, while perhaps entertaining, are not new.

But, I digress. Why do people feel compelled to share so fucking much in zone wide chatter? It's not like actually talking to real live humans, where sometimes you say things before you think about it. It's not like your verbal diarrhea just slipped out. You have to make the effort to type out your brilliant observations on "goddammit it's raining again." No kidding. It's raining. The other forty people in the zone would NEVER have noticed if hadn't been for you! Hooray, Captain Obvious has saved us from…um… our virtual selves getting virtually wet in a virtual world? Gosh! Thanks! I'll just run for a dwarf hut to protect my hairdo now that you've pointed out the weather!

Being a moron isn't a crime - but sharing it with the rest of us should be.

Why do you continue bothering to ask this of Hank, or NFH, or whoever?

I'm more concerned that BRC will abandon us for that site.

I'm surprised it's gotten that busy. For years it was a well-known secret. Enough people knew it was there to make it interesting, but you could always count on getting a seat. I'm sorry to hear that.

I love pro se parties!

Not quite stupid client comments, but...

Pro Se today tells me that "you're out of your league" w/r/t real estate knowledge. Our main defense in the case is that he sued the wrong party - he tells me that he knows this judge doesn't rule on the legal issues - he will rule on "the truth" and that "You're going down." (Will see if the "truth" prevails tomorrow at hearing).

Not quite as good as last week when a pro se told me that no judge would ever rule against him because he was a 20+ year veteran sheriff's deputy. (Motion for default judgment is pending, there being no answer and correspondingly no "peace officer" defense asserted.)
