It's harder to voice when the Attorney General has taken the position that the Geneva Conventions are "quaint."
Which was the point all along.
|
Nice try.
They are "quaint" when you're talking about non-uniformed combatants who weren't meant to be protected.
A world different from members of Her Majesty's Royals.

But you have no problem with the Persians waterboarding the Brits because that's not torture, right?

The moonbat quotient is equal on both sides of the aisle.
|
Bullshit. The numbers may be equal, but the exposure is miles apart.
The moonbats on the right aren't reading you the daily news on every major network.
Or writing the lead articles for the NYT or WaPo.
Or writing the scripts for TV.

The right's moonbats have just been running the joint.

You know, Adder.....The world is questioning whether she actually wrote the note and, if so, whether she did it under some awful threat. Nobody, except you, is debating whether it's okay for a service person to publicly make statements against their country's rightful position at war. What a total retard you are.

There are people on the left like Michael Berube who spend time pointing out that the Chomsky crowd is a bunch of wingnuts. But if Slave were to even notice that this sort of thing goes on, he would just say it isn't enough.
|
Sorry, I missed Professor's Berube's segments on Sixty Minutes?
Or was it during his new primetime show on MSNBC?

Slave wants her to be waterboarded.
eta: It must be her slight resemblance to Rachel Corrie.

1. The NYTimes Oped page is a joke. Nobody pays attention to it anymore. Frank Rich? Paul Krugman? Marginalized nuts. Most of my Democrat friends admit those writers are idiots.
2. Nobody but a few Red Staters without cable watch the Big Nightly News, and those few aren't having any of the liberal bias.
3. Scripts? Last time I checked, the TV viewing public ws fixated on reality television. They're too goddamned stupid to even follow a script anymore.
The swayable aren't swayed by the moonbats you're concerned about. The swayable are in college, or protesting something and dreaming of a Phish Reunion. They don't vote. Your concern, though valid, seems kind of misplaced considering the GOP's success in recent years.
And frankly, I think whoever said the nuts in the GOP are running the show had a point. The Dems pay lip service to their loons, but the GOP actually gives theirs power. The GOP needs to refigure its reliance on the Southern Strategy. If the Dems ever figure out how to jump from bleeding heart liberals to populists, the GOP is done. You complain about Pelosi when you ought to be thanking the Fates that the Dems are so fucked they allow idiots like her and Murtha to hold control over the party.
Give that party to Stenny Hoyer and Rahm Emmanuel and they'd bulldoze the GOP. Pray for more liberals to be on the air and in power - fear of their foolishness is the only thing keeping the GOP alive these days.

I certainly don't read it since they started that Times Select bullshit on their website. Pay? What?
