this is the best definition of "not easy" that I have ever heard.

Yes, yes. He laughed when I said that he could not come over to see my grand piano that first night because I did not want him to think I was easy -- as my hand is down his pants and his is up my shirt in public. Shees.

Remember when everyone used to hate you and I was one of the only people who was nice to you? Can you give me some pointers on how you turned it around? I think you owe me.

Wait -- people hated me????!!!????

If this is true, I suspect my way cool avatar was instrumental in the turnabout.

Oh, heck -- were you talking about you and the Mister? Sorry.

I think you got less defensive or something. Less "I'm hot and all the males must worship me."

Or the avatar.

Or not being easy anymore.

I've been really interested to see how things have changed in the finals. Some people have really been rising to the occasion, and others I liked before have been stumbling. I have to say, though, that overall I care much less than I did in seasons past.

I think Anthony Federov should be the next to go home. He is just sooooo out of his depth. Then I'd like to see Jessica Sierra get the boot. Then Vonzell and Nikko with their persistent, though much improved, pitch issues. Then Scott, who seemed really, really out of it last night.

I didn't think Constantine would do as well in the finals as he has thus far. Last night's performance was the best he's done thus far. He really is a singer, and he smartly picked a singer's song.

Nadia did not pick a singer's song (Melissa Etheridge sucks ass in that department), and in spite of her visible comfort in performing, she's got some serious vocal production issues (shouting).

Anwar is really starting to get on my nerves. He is a great singer with a lovely instrument, but he is NOT a great performer. A jazz background (as opposed to a gospel background) is not the way to learn how to emotionally connect with the audience, and he's leaving me cold.

Carrie has good range and a good sense of how to interpret a song, but she's not perfect--last night she was consistently just a hair sharp. Grating.

Bo is a capable singer and great performer--he does seem like he's been doing it for 20 years (though probably the 20 years between 1967 and 1987). However, I have a hard time imagining him as a solo artist.

I do not understand this, because I never have been stuck in such a situation. Why? I don't have crap clients. Duh.

In other news, I would like to go jogging with ABBA. Or ride in a taxi. Whichever.

(uh, did I say that out loud? Oops. I blame the discovery hearing with the hot magistrate judge over in East Podunk. Insert gavel joke here.)
