Right now I'm just listening to Alt Nation, First Wave, Reggae and Classic Rewind (or something like that). What are the good stations that I am missing?

Why do you think the programming is so much better than XM? I chose XM a couple of years ago, but mainly because I dislike Howard Stern so much that I figured that anyone paying him a gazillion dollars had to be completely nuts. But, I'm not necessarily all that thrilled with XM and once our subscription runs out I might change. So, why is Sirius mo' better?

That reminds me. Last week I heard, for the first time, what is to be their first single off the new record(ing) [fuck, I don't even know what to call them anymore].
I sat listening to it, and said to myself. "Damn, it kind of sounds like The Who, and it kind of sounds like Roger."
It was. But Roger's voice is now shot.
I guess 60 is about the limit for rock singers.
(And no, Jagger, much as I love the guy, ain't a singer -- he's a stylist -- sorry, Sebby.)

I like Sirius Disorder (eclectic -- everything from John Coltrane to Lyle Lovett to a bunch of people I've never heard of), Left of Center (think college radio station -- they introduced me to She Wants Revenge and that band whose name escapes me who does "Wig in a Box"), and the Coffee House (singer-songwriter folky stuff, Dar Williams, John Prine, John Gorka, Madeline Peyroux, etc.).

I got the Sirius Sportster (or something like that).
It beeps at me whenever an Eagles game starts and then again every time the score changes.
That was the big draw for me.

Did you throw it out the window between 4 and 5 eastern this past Sunday?
(beep. beep. beep. beep.)

If I had one of those things in my car for listening to my team, I'd likely rip it off the dashboard and throw it out the window before the season was over.
*BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP!
(God, the Browns suck -- again.)
ETA: (Geez, that was scary.)

I've heard plenty of both. It's the same exact thing - unless you require sports broadcasting.
XM has hockey and baseball. I believe Sirius has football. And I further believe that Sidd could not care less about any of it.
