Maybe it is just me.

I always wanted to know how lame was spelled and out of fear of being incorrect, i'd just write "an ornamental fabric in which metallic threads, as of gold or silver, are woven with silk, wool, rayon, or cotton" rather than risk having spelling error. Thanks for the help Flower. Smooches.

Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

As a recruiting tool, I bet they more than pay for themselves. And they are awesome. I saw them yearly as a kid at the Brunswick NAS.

RUN ABBA RUN!!! SWEAT ABBA SWEAT!!!
ABBA, I hope your marathon wasn't too miserable despite the miserable heat and humidity.
Also hope you weren't one of the 250 treated in the medic tent, one of the 45 who went to the hospital or one of the 2 admitted to the hospital.
For those of you not here in the Minneapple, it was unseasonably hot and humid today, which was nice for just lounging in a hammock and reading but not so nice for running an insane distance.

The Blue Angels exist to prove what is already universally known but must be ever-vigilantly proved: that America fucking rocks, that it is right and meet that a college-educated man in uniform should spread his seed widely and well, and that Chris Daly is a fucking tool.

Why? If he outlasts Steinbrenner (highly likely), who's going to fire him? And after Steinbrenner goes, the gig gets much easier. And even if he doesn't outlast Steinbrenner, you have to be smart about it. Win the Series, sign a huge, long contract and then you get it all once he gets pissed off and fires you after a 5-game skid during the first year of the contract.
