Anyway, it's still a good expression. Especially good to use if you are in bed with a guy and he comes very quickly. Only if he has a sense of humor. Or if you want to make him feel crappy.

Great -- now I'm stuck with the bizarre visual of George Foreman telling Ali "um, if you wash up a bit I'll finish you with my tongue."

As if. Besides, you can start recycling them -- it's not like everyone here heard the one about the Leafs captain, the snake, and the nekkid Ms. Best Legs Toronto.
My only hockey story is that I saw Phil Esposito on the street when I was out of town for a deposition a couple of years ago. I said hello, and he said "howyadoin?"

What exactly is "tree-planting"? Is this some kind of Canadian euphemism, or does it really mean planting trees? Is tree-planting something Canadians do often?

A lot of Canadians do it. The forestry companies clearcut and then they need people to reforest the land. So college kids (mostly) go way up north each year during the summer and plant trees. Depending on how big your trees are and how difficult the land is to plant in, you can plant around 2000 trees a day or sometimes more. You get paid per tree.
It is difficult work, made a lot easier by the proliferation of illicit substances that help your day go by. And on the weekends you blow off steam and the locals tend to not like you because you are from the big city. It's a lot of fun if you like being miles away from nowhere and getting dirty and stinky and sweaty. also, if you are female, the odds are hugely in your favor.
I only did it one summer but am still friends with the guys I planted with. We live all over the place but still visit each other. You tend to bond.

I love these euphemisms.
(Problem was, living in tents and warehouses miles from nowhere, it was tough to buy the necessary equipment for safe "bonding". The one guy who brought a bunch was very popular. He got to "bond" a lot.)

The Fin is in. That's what these people say anyway. I can't imagine anyone who isn't a soccer player or works at Tower getting away with this look.
Every so often a hairdo comes along that seems utterly ludicrous at first - but which soon becomes as common as cornflakes. The Fin is one such hairstyle. Ideal for those growing out last year's crop (Mr Beckham is sooo behind), the Fin is essentially a short back and sides with a twist - the longer hair on top is gelled into a dorsal fin. Once a hairdresser has given you the basic cut, everyday styling is quick and easy.

Another nice feature of the fin is that it segues nicely into a mullet. Which is always in.
I will note that the url included in NFH's post refers you to the Travis website. Travis is a secret like of mine. Well, less of a secret now, of course.

Which reminds me, has anyone seen the Fifth Wheel where the Spanish guy calls himself the Jaguar? Funny.
I was up late last night.
