 | Not trying to start something here, but why would they want a minority female? Who is sitting there waiting to buy a record from a minority? Are minorities considered part of the same demographic and therefore interchangeable? If the person is hispanic, will other minorities rush out to by their album? Are the white people who watch sick of white girls and big, fat black guys already?

I understand that they can diversify their Idol portfolio to increase their market share. But it's weird to think that signing a minority (as opposed to a black or asian or hispanic) female fills some type of void.

Last month I proofread a term paper for my niece and pointed out sentences with grammar problems (I didn't correct them for her, just told her they were wrong). She got upset and told me it wouldn't matter because it wasn't a paper for English so the teacher wouldn't grade the writing. According to her, the only teacher other than the English teacher who cares about the writing in a paper is her Chemistry teacher who told them it is part of their grade. What the heck?!? Shouldn't that be a part of all school papers? With computer spellcheck, spelling shouldn't be an issue so why not focus the students on grammar? |

 | Okay, this has always bothered me, and I've always wanted to pose this question to someone who had an actual anti-Jewish bias sincerely based upon this theory.

Seems to me that Christians believe that there can be no salvation without the Christ as the vessel of that salvation.

If you have enough bible drilled in your head, even if it's just New Testament, Jesus' actions were referred to numerous times in numerous ways as the fulfillment of prophecy or God's will.

Bottom line is, Christians believe that he had to die, and die a painful and horrible death for the sake of all who believe.

If a Christian actually believes that the Jews were solely responsible for the death of Jesus, shouldn't they be thanking them?

Someday I'm going to ask this question at the risk of completely pissing someone off.

Of course, they would deserve to be put in their place.

				New sandals

I just ordered these in two colors:
They aren't as pricey or noteworthy as rp's sandal lust objects, but I'm pretty excited (I wanted to say "pumped" but couldn't bring myself to do it) to get them just the same. Plus it will be sandal season here in a month or less. |
