The fact that you bet on both teams shows that you enjoy the action, whether or not you end up ahead. So kwitcher bellyachin'.

Seems to me that they probably want to do it before sweeps week. Which is what, middle of May? str8?

Houston is so stacked. I know early they were trying to figure how to work McGrady in, but other than that I can't figure how they ended 5th. Were they really weak early and really strong late?

And PS you'll lose the $30 bucks too.

and pss Phoenix fans, enjoy the first round- conf. str8 DO NOT BET ON PHOENIX to take Houston

SA/Houston in the West- Det/Miami in the East- that's all good basketball.

Overheard in New York just continues to amuse me.

Translation: He Gives Bad Head

Hipster girl: It's like, OK, we only see each other when we're drunk, and he doesn't seem that interested, and we never have a decent conversation, and he might be gay, but on top of everything he's also a Red Sox fan. He even made fun of Bernie Williams once.
Hipster queer: So that's really the clincher for you?
Hipster girl: Well, you know, there's a limit to how many areas where you can be incompatible.

No Dude, Go for the Harem!

Guy #1: I've been thinking about getting a fez, rocking a fez, you know?
Guy #2: Man, you'd get that shit knocked right off your head. Fucking Shriners...
Guy #3: Maybe you can get one of those little cars, too. And a monkey.

Just think how good they'd be if they only could have pulled off that T-Mac for Billups trade.

OMG. I always use this line when someone says something really stupid (and it's a bad idea -- duh). No one ever knows what I'm talking about!

Yes, I'm catching up -- I was out yesterday -- so sue me!

[Saying "so sue me" to a lawyer board is an example of when I would use the phrase "BAD IDEA jeans".]

Oh. My. God. Like, the ipod I had all weekend like totally had this band on it. How weird. A mystery never to be, like, unraveled.

Fetch me a latte.

ETA borrowing other people's ipods is fun. I now know I do not like Moby, and I think the singer in Maroon5 sounds much like Stevie Wonder. And I really appreciate that someone let me borrow an ipod.

Every Beatnuts CD I own has at least 2-3 three great songs, a few good ones. And they kick it out live.

Heh. I was in three separate conversations about the summer of 1994 last night as I watched the game. We're feeling good down here.
