One of the more surreal days in my life. While killing time at work waiting for my wife to go into labor (probably not going to happen -- her labor's being induced on Thursday), I enter a $30 limit holdem tournament. Well, I'm surviving, and surviving, and it goes on, and on. I finish 3d out of 220 -- we were playing 4 handed for about 40 minutes.

Anyways, the tournament ends, and I'm happy and pretty beat. And I flick on the internet and see that apparently Charlie Francis is traning Rafael Palmeiro, and there's news of a plane crash in Toronto where everyone escapes just before the plane bursts into flame, and oh yeah, Antoine Walker and James Posey are on the Miami Heat in a 13-player 5-team NBA trade.

What the hell is going on?
