(btw your poll is flawed w/r/t gay people; they'll answer Y to all without discussing whether they've tried batting the other way; unless you just don't care about their answers, in which case you should tell them to stop answering after that question)

Good point. I guess change the "of the same sex" to " of the sex to which you are not primarly attracted."

To paraphrase Garrett Morris from SNL, who are these women you are talking about?

what kind of frat even has a stuffed bear let alone going after it? I'm guessing not the kind of frat having "knock the bottle over" contests.

Men's Health compiled this list based on antidepressant sales, courtesy of NDC Health; suicide rates, from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); and the number of days inhabitants reported being depressed, based on the CDC's Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, accessed through bestplaces.net. Whatever the reasons, Philadelphia has earned the melancholy distinction of being America's most depressed city, followed closely by Detroit and St. Petersburg, Florida.
The 20 Most Depressed Cities
1. Philadelphia, PA: F
2. Detroit, MI: F
3. St. Petersburg, FL: F
4. St. Louis, MO: F
5. Tampa, FL: F (surprising)
6. Indianapolis, IN: F
7. (3-way tie) Mesa, AZ: F, Phoenix, AZ: F, and Scottsdale, AZ: F (not surprising)
10. Cleveland, OH: F
11. New York, NY: D-
12. Salt Lake City, UT: D-
13. Atlanta, GA: D
14. (3-way tie) Yonkers, NY: D, Pittsburgh, PA: D, and Kansas City, MO: D
17. (3-way tie) Long Beach, CA: D, Los Angeles, CA: D, Nashville, TN" D
20. Portland, OR: D
I think LA works it's way in there not so much that people are depressed, but that people really really like their antidepressants there.
The 20 Happiest Cities
1. Laredo, TX: A+
2. El Paso, TX: A+
3. Jersey City, NJ: A+
4. Corpus Christi, TX: A+
5. Baton Rouge, LA: A
6. Honolulu, HI: A-
7. Fresno, CA: A-
8. San Jose, CA: A- (surprising)
9. Lincoln, NE: B+
10. Bakersfield, CA: B+
11. Buffalo, NY: B+ (wha?)
12. Anchorage, AK: B+
13. Stockton, CA: B+
14. Shreveport, LA: B+
15. (3-way tie) Madison, WI: B, Montgomery, AL: B, and Des Moines, IA: B
18. Wichita, KS: B
19. (tie) Sacramento, CA (shocking): B and Omaha, NE: B

Alright Portland!
And Sacto is "shocking" but no comment for Fresno, Bakersfield, and Stockton? Sacramento is Paris in the Spring when compared to those three shitholes.

Maybe it's different in Podunkville. Should I have included some questions about cows of the same or opposite sex?

Hmmmm . . . NFH says the same thing first, with an amusing sorrority anecdote. I chime in a bit later with a pop culture reference from the 1970s (thought one could argue that it is timeless).
Advantage NFH. But only a slight one, because I laughed at myself as I replayed the Garrett/Mick interview in my head.
Carry on.

- Cops: Man Killed Over Racist Joke
Tuesday, April 26, 2005
PHILADELPHIA — A black man shot a white former co-worker to death on Easter, claiming he did it because he overheard the victim telling a racist joke seven years ago, authorities said Monday.
Stanford A. Douglas Jr., 29, was arrested Sunday after a two-hour standoff with police. He was charged with murder and jailed without bail.
Douglas allegedly shot William Berkeyheiser, 62, three times in the chest and shoulder on March 27 after he opened the front door of his home.
Douglas told investigators he had thought about killing Berkeyheiser ever since he overheard Berkeyheiser tell someone a joke with racial overtones in 1998, Bucks County District Attorney Diane Gibbons said.
Maybe it was the depression of Philadelphia, but that is some serious grudge holdng.

We're really more of a soybean and corn growing kinda place. Although Big Earl (Big Ed's brother) does have a few horses. And the local 4-H kids do like to "experiment" with Archer Daniels Midland lobbyists on occasion. No eyeball-licking, though (but I bet the occasional [toe-sucking] takes places).

I find lesbian experimentation boring. I have no questions about it. I skip those portions of porn tapes.
