Yep. So long as it's not a forward pass beyond the line of scrimmage, they can lateral as much as they want to. I suspect one or two of those lads plays rugby on the off season.

Look Burger, I don't know you, but undoubtedly you've beaten me in every other facet of educational, professional and personal life possible. I accept that. It used to be that I would refuse to buy boots that were not heels. However, now that I'm a country bumpkin, I'm rethinking that strategy. My real preference is wedge heels, but this year, I can't find any that I really like.

So... now that I'm ready to branch out into flat boots, what do we think of these??

I like them. But I think they are the kind of boots that women like and men don't, if that makes any kind of difference to you.

I don't like them. I am not a man. I even appreciate the concept of cute-ugly. I am not sure those boots contain the requisite "cute" to pull that description off. No offence.

I bought these this year:

I have not had a weather-appropriate time to wear them yet. I also bought a winter coat this year. Then it was totally not winter-coat weather when I was in Boston. I am ready. Just in case. It is likely that I will wear my new boots at some point this winter in LA. It is less likely I will wear my winter coat.

You might want to check out a flat cowgirl/boy-ish look in a tall boot b/c that can be sexy. In a vintage way.

(PS to NCS - what do you WEAR with those shoes? I want to get them but think I'd have to be nekkid; otherwise nothing would go with them).
