Sebastian Jr.? That name blows. You should call him Thurgreed.

I knew that was you. I was just too polite to ask.

I just tell people those are the names and that's that.
I've already gone through the annoying "let me give you my input" bit when relative of mine got all bent because I would not have a mass at my wedding. Told her I'd have a mass if she'd like to pay for the ceremony and invited her to take the matter up with my in laws. Seemed to shut her the fuck up.
If you knock my wife up, you can name the kid. Otherwise, unless I ask, don't offer the "naming advice."
I assume these names are OK, Balt?

Hate to break it to you dude, but you need the consent of at least five other guys on this board.
Details are, understandably, a bit hazy.

Another thing you will avoid by refusing to tell people name choices is the inevitable, "Don't name your child _________ because I associate that name with somebody who is horrible in my office/college/church/whatever." It's not funny. These people are serious.
The only times it is appropriate to make fun of names are (1) before the soon-to-be-mom is actually pregnant, (2) to someone's face about their own name and (3) anytime, behind their or their parents' backs.

I went to basketball camp with a kid named Adolph. The first day, the counselor called out "Uh, Adolph? You're not serious, are you?" I sooo wanted to see what that kid's folks looked like. That had to be some fucked up family right there...

In that case, I'm good with Lily, but Vaughn's gotta go. I'm liking the Thurgreed idea.

Yeah, but Mrs. dL was both a cheerleader and a sorority girl. I had to break her of her pillow-fighting habit.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

I'm an asshole?
Do you think it was nice to claim paternity for his first born?
Really, big picture wasn't mine the nicer of the two posts?
These are rhetorical questions, meant to help you learn to be more sensitive to the feelings of others.
