When I was a sophomore in HS, I had a crush on this junior cheerleader who was dating the starting senior quarterback. Somehow, I temporarily convinced her to break up with him. She eventually got back together with him, but confessed that she still really liked me. When the latter occurred, I drove over to her house and rang the doorbell. She answered.
