If you like David Cronenberg, you will probably like it. With the (enormous) notable exception of Crash (worst movie ever), I kind of like David Cronenberg. That said, I thought it was pretty good when I saw it, but can't remember much about it now.

Interesting flick. Like most Cronenberg stuff, it's full of creepy, gooey stuff, but it has some cool VR Matrix-ey elements It came out before The Matrix, I believe, though they were both released in 1999).

To all you people who didn't work this weekend
Fuck all you people who sat around and watched movies all weekend. I had planned on watching Children of the Corn, and I got stuck watching Species III, a horrible horrible movie because I came home late and husband was already "into" it and would not turn it off during dinner. That said, it sucks to have to watch aliens vomit during dinner.
Again, fuck all you people. I'm feeling a little contagious today. Maybe I have the measles or the mumps or TB or mono that will force me to take a week off suddenly.

So you worked on a holiday weekend and hubby wouldn't even do you the courtesy of switching the movie? No wonder you're crabby. He should buy you something spendy to make up for it.

If you somehow think Children of the Corn is not, in fact, a horrible horrible movie, you have bigger issues to worry about.

I happen to like Stephen King. It may, in fact, be a horrible horrible movie, but it's what I wanted to watch.
The Species trilogy is a whole 'nuther thing.

Yeah, that's what I think, but he had to work too. And a lot more hours. At least I didn't have to get up at 8:00am to go to work.

Children of the Corn is a competent horror flick. It also ruined the name "Malachi" for me.

She seems a little manly. I also think that Kelly McGillis is manly - but I've been told that I'm wrong about this.
Are you attracted to the manly women?

dtb, you should watch the first in the series. Natasha Henstridge has a nude scene and her body is fucking flawless. Good dream material (and unlike Gatti, she has unlimited dream priviliges)

This guy that I tree-planted with used to play with Natasha Henstridge when they were little kids. I tried to get an introduction to her from him on that basis, but so far no dice.

Ah! I think we've stumbled upon a resolution.
I'm not really interested in being in your dream.
