Well then, what about Jeff Garcia?

I want to stay away from snakes. I don't care if a snake can rush for 2000 yards a season (I didn't bother to look up Kenny Stabler's stats, btw, wasn't he rumored to be a gay?) A snake is a snake. I have no pretentions that my view on this matter are in any way progressive, but I don't care. Down with snakes.
Since snakes eat rats, I'm not sure that our positions are consistent.

Snakist fuck. However, because I still care deeply for you, I will point out that removing a food source is a good way to discourage the presence of a species. My mom keeps cats in the barn not to keep the rodents away, but to keep away the snakes that eat the rodents.

I've heard that they attack golfers on one course I play occassionally (even though I hate golf, but thats neither here nor there... but you should know, I hate golf). I assume one soft swipe with a wood (with head cover on to avoid hurting the bird) would take care of that problem. Yet, I hear about grown men running from the birds. I mean, what can a goose do to you? You outweigh the thing by at least 90lbs...

So she has cats around to keep the rodent population up? Weird that.

I heard Neon Deion played both sides of the ball. I don't know if he's gay, though.

They travel in goose gangs. And they aren't the least bit intimidated by a golf club or even a car. They'll stand their ground. And they bite. It's better not to run away, but they bite. Or snap or whatever it is that you do with a beak.
You probably outweigh most pitbulls, but that's no reason not to fear them.

I've seen a goose killed on the golf course by an errant ball. I've also seen a much smaller bird split in half by another errant ball. Pretty gross.
When they attack, they attack in numbers. But they back off if you give them a warning swing.

There are creatures that I outweigh by approximately as many pounds as I weigh at the time that I encounter these creatures, but I still fear them.

I've been dive-bombed by two robins when I was trimming a bush. Eerie. Very disconcerting. They would fly to two perches opposite each other and above me. I was in the middle. At the exact same time, they would both dive at my face. I grabbed the rake and started swatting at them. They didn't stop. If you thought "The Birds" was creepy, this would have scared the shit out of you.
Obviously they were protecting something.

For Lactation Lover
Is it time for breast milk to return to the top of the discussion rotation?
Migrants from the Dominican Republic lost power on their boat and drifted for several days without food. "Two women offered their breast milk to passengers. One who refused to share her milk was thrown overboard by male passengers..."

Well there you go then.
Though, someone quoted him later in the article about saying gay men should stay away from him. Again, that could mean two things. Either he is afraid and wants no gay men near him but for when they are playing the game, or he is really just trying to say gay men shouldn't hit on him. The first would literally be homophobic. The second not so much.
I frequently say the same thing about men, I don't think that makes me manphobic. I'm perfectly happy to talk to men, I even let them touch me from time to time - in a non-sexual way of course. Maybe a hug or a pat on the arm or something. I just really prefer it that they don't hit on me. Of course they do, and I don't punch them, nor would I kill them and then argue heteropanic as my defense. But I still wish they wouldn't do it. (I think I might be Sebbiephobic though.)
eta - from additional information provided, I agree, he (the sports dued, not Sebbie) is a homophobic jerk. Ah well, it's a free country.

I never understood people getting mad if a gay person hits on them. I've been hit on by gay men. I've also had gay men compliment me on my clothes. As to the first, I think its great. Gay men I know are really looks conscious, so if you get hit on by a gay dude, that's a valifdation that you probably look pretty good at that moment (provided he's not one of those slovenly gay guys). As to the second, if a gay dude admires your threads, you've done well. Then, of course, my wife tells the gay dude that she picked out the clothes, so I lose any gay style cred I might have gained.
The only bad kind of "getting hit on" is not getting hit on.

thank you, wise flower, for directing the conversation away from a discussion of homophobia and towards an enthralling multi-faceted animal stories conversation. I thank you. the people who care thank you. and if it could talk, the board itself would thank you.

The wild boar I saw was fairly small. But mean. I had my knife out in the Smokies like I was some tough guy.
