When he does get the pass off, he's waited so long that his arm gets hit.

Absolutely terrrible.

Not that this is an original thought or anything...

According to his publicist, he has twenty-five million reasons not to be kicking himself.
I'm not sure what your point is, since he clearly wouldn't be in Philly after last year anyway. Is it that he should have picked a team to defect to that had a better quarterback? Because I'm not sure how many offers he had lining up at his door last season. Most people know how to spell trouble (and is starts with a capital T, and that goes with O, and that spells TO).

I'm just thinking of when he started throwing Donovan McNabb under the bus last year and said something like "DMac is no Brett Favre. If Brett Farve was the qb of the Eagles, we'd be undefeated."
It's sad because he was be-fucking-loved in Philly 2 years ago. Mike Schmidt level beloved. Bobby Clarke level beloved. Rocky level beloved. And now, he's well, not. And that's because he was stupid and greedy and has a really bad agent.
Not sure I really have a point here either.

You're very bitter Italian man, aren't you? Get over it. Columbus was sailing under the Spanish flag anyway.

I was watcing something I had recorded from PBS last night about race in America, and they talked about redlining in Detroit. Apparently, in the 60s the white folks along 8-Mile were pissed because the negroes acrosst the road were draggin down their property values. The show said that the white folks built a big wall, and their property values increased.
I bring this up, not because I am implying that folk from Detroit are more or less prejudiced than people anywhere else. I am just wondering if the good folk of Bloomfield Hils have thrown up a wall around Hank's house yet?

The more interesting question is why Philadelphia was such a collective slut for that asshole in the first place.

You think? Really?
Because I think it was pretty clear that after 3 NFC championship games with no trip to the Superbowl, everybody loved him because they thought he'd take them to Jax. And he did.
We're a city that loves a fictional boxer, fer Chrissakes, and loves him as one of our own.
We love Pete Rose too.
We're fucked up.
(btw, in case it isn't abundantly clear, I'm really proud to be a girl from Philly.)

You know, I said (on this board in fact) back when the Eagles signed him, that I thought he and Donovan would get along okay, because I felt like he'd spent all his career complaining that he never had the right qb and Donovan certainly had never had the right receivers. And I felt like each of them had this one chance to prove that it really was about what they hadn't had in the past, rather than about them individually as players.
I guess I was wrong.

I was going to say something like he is mildly retarded because he went to WSU, but I'll keep that to myself. And in fairness, I can think of a lot more than 3 quarterbacks that are worse than Drew, but I'll keep that to myself for the sake of Hank and Sidd and any Cardinal or Raider fans out there. In fairness, the guy is old. Almost Brett Favre old. And come to think of it, so is Mark Brunell. Why is all the talk about Favre retiring but not Bledsoe or Brunell or Warner? They're all in their late 30's.

With his enthusiasm and support from the bench, while his busted leg healed?
I'll grant that his SB39 performance was a great one in the circumstances, but he provided at best a psychological boost in getting the eagles there.
