Truer words have never been spoken.

Another interesting fact about horse poo: if you step in it, it doesn't stick to your shoe!

Rude Fats Alert

Well, the rude fats called last night and asked if they could stay overnight at our place the weekend after labor day. They want to attend the Hay Days Snowmobile Drag Races. Yes, that's right. It's a huge redneck festival where people race their snowmobiles on hay-covered race tracks. OOGA OOGA GRUNT GRUNT. We told them we had to check our schedule.

So, last night we frantically searched for some excuse as to why they couldn't stay at our place that weekend and, thanks to my web-fu skills, we came up with the Minnesota Food & Wine Festival Grapestomp which is being held in a city about 2 hours from us over the same weekend.

That's right, folks. The Mrs. and I would rather swill shitty Minnesota wine than spend time with the rude fats. Not much of a competition, I guess.

The question is - should we enter the grape stomp? Has anyone done it before?

I had a similar experience earlier this week. Sat on the runway for a looooong time, but was using my blackberry to send messages (I had to drop it in the seat every time the flight attendant walked by, but that's easy for a covert operative like me). I was also using my phone -- ha ha!!!

I would have used my bberry in flight as well, but there was no reception. Bastards.

I'm not that kind of girl, mister.

Keep it clean. This is a family show.

PS -- Kindly look up the spelling of the word "whiff" (OK, never mind. I just gave you the answer. You're welcome.)

Hold On To That Fee-eee-ling

Can someone please tell me how Journey's Don't Stop Believing became the tenth most downloaded song on I-Tunes? Is Flower behind this?

You will soon learn that the flower is behind everything.

That *bastard*!

In other news, my meaningless Not Fun dream (I'm at work, doing purely work stuff, just like a normal day, no insight into any case or person or deep meaning of life) returned last night. I seldom dream, or seldom remember them, so I get pissed when I have this dream. I should be dreaming about playing Twister with Ashley Judd, dammit!

Anyway, I feel like Calvin (as in "and Hobbes") in that strip where he goes through what seems to be his normal day, then he wakes up and says "my dreams are getting way too literal" in the last panel

It's not what she said. It's how she said it.
