I guess I just disagree. By your analysis, Carolyn looks poor because she couldn't afford a nose job and whatever would need to be done to fix whatever the hell is up with her eyes. She also looks poor because she did not get the calcium she needed to stand up straight.

Keira comes from a family of Brit television actors, so I doubt they were poor.
That being said, I do not recall seeing bad teeth on her. Cite please.

I dont know where to start with this ignorant post but lets start with the really easy part
1). "wealthy looking"? Are you too much of a pussy to say "classy" now that I have instructed you that it is a downright prole thing to say? bc this is worse. Carolyn was elegant and beautiful and if you cant see it, then whatever. beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I guess only JFK JR, myself and a zillion others thought so. And she was elegant but that had nothing to do with being "wealthy looking" (bc as we previously discussed, she wansnt). By elegant, I mean, poised, graceful sleek and classically beautiful with high cheekbones, wideset eyes and a different nose. and tall and thin. willowy. but I am not having this convo again. Some of the guidos here cant appreciate elegant and thats fine. You cant teach a guido taste.
2) I hate Gwyneth Paltrow and have previously said here she is offensively self improtant. However, I have never said she was
"elegant" and "wealthy looking".
3) Keira just looks cheap in the pirate flick, like some twenty something you might see standing on line to get into the Sky Bar or on the Heidi Fleiss E True Hollywood Story. Its hard to pinpoint exactly what makes her cheap looking but I guess my mom's observation of the silicone lips would be a good starting point. Its just the whole package. Again, I didnt see it in the pics posted here, but I definitely saw it in the movie and I wasnt alone. My mom saw it too. Just a tawdry looking gal. Maybe its her resemblance to Denise Richards who is a total ho, who knows?
4) Tonya Harding isnt cheap looking, she is prole looking. but moreover, she is just fucking ugly.
5) Jenny McCarthy is generic hollywood blonde. Nothing special, but I could not stand her personality. man was she annoying. just shut up and show Less your tits.

Misc holiday cheer
Buy the tux. Frankly, you can get something quasi-passable for $300 at Simms or Filenes, have it properly fitted, save a fortune on an 18-month time horizon, and you will still look 6x better than you would in something rented. "Optional" is either (1) redundant (if you hold that black tie remains informal and white tie formal) or (2) heresy (because formality either is or isn't, but surely isn't "optional" if it is). "Creative black tie" is just heresy, unless it means colorful suspenders (vests, ties and cummerbunds must all be strict black or hair will grow out of your ears and you will go to hell, simple as that, though I will countenance textured all-black jacquard patterned silk). If 3 button looks good, get 3 button. Lapels should be peaked, not notched, but no one will have a heart attack regardless. Do not wear patent shoes or wing collars, though - some things remain sacred. Do not count on getting to wear your own tux if you are in a wedding party - it is idiotic, but even if the bride thinks it is fine there is still a good chance her mother will flip (I was all set to let our groomsmen wear their own formal gear and mine nearly had a heart attack, since that involved 2 of them providing their own, differing, morning suits and one wearing his regimental kilt - "they won't look like they match!" she cried).
I believed in Santa until the first day of first grade, when the teacher introduced us to full-time school by saying "you're all big kids now, and don't believe in Santa, or the Easter Bunny, or the tooth fairy any more ...." On a more cheerful Santa note, though this may be somewhat outable, my brother in law was the NORAD Santa-reporter for a few years - when the news stations called NORAD for Santa updates, he was the one who gave them. I consider this extremely cool.
Worst gift is outable. Suffice it to say that, when cornered and asked "what do you want this year" I responded, "oh, I don't know, anything but X" and of course received X, and lots of it. Best gift is that someone actually got us what we did mention that we needed - a new telephone and answering machine.
Rudest thing said? Didn't have one this year, since I worked the whole time and therefore didn't see any family.
Happy Holidays to all! I am back to the trenches.

Doesn't Paltrow fit your description of Bessette?
"...poised, graceful, sleek and classically beautiful with high cheekbones, wideset eyes and a different nose. and tall and thin. willowy."

Christmas Present Redux
It's been what, over a year now and I still can't figure out this site...poor stupid me.
Worst Present: 4.99$ bag of mulling spices from my cheap ass sister who left the price on the bag, probably meaning she bought it on sale and wanted me to think she paid 4.99 for it.
Best Present: Tool Belt. I feel so butch.

Apparently, Gwyneth is neither horse-faced enough, nor does she have the sallow eyes and drippy coke nose that represents the epitome of Greenwich beauty.

But does she own or rent her tuxedo?

I'm a bit confused. Honestly. I think Paltrow has very high cheekbones and I thought Bessette's were just average ones accentuated by the hollows under them brought on by being much thinner than her body was intended to be (when you're thinner than you were in high school, and were a healthy weight in high school generally that means you aren't your natural weight....
Could someone more tech savvy than me put a close up picture of each of their faces side by side so we could evaluate whose cheekbones are higher...for God's sake, we don't need cheekbones interfering with their lines of sight, do we?

They are called "racing silks" - and yes, I believe hers were owned.

Yeah. Notwithstanding the "ergo," the poor thing was not serious.

Best I could do -- very few pics online showing her teeth.
Next time you watch one of her movies, look about 12-14 inches above her pretty perkies. They (her teeth, that is) are crooked and her bite is off, which makes her chin jut out when she talks, detracting from her looks. It is not good for an actress to look less pretty when she's talking than she does in her stills.
I actually regret saying anything now, because I hate when we have pages of posts picking apart a woman's appearance. She's lovely, I'm measuring her against impossible standards. I'm just very picky about teeth. Don't even get me started on Reese Witherspoon.

This sounds like child molestor speak. Do you drive one of those short vans with the circular windows in the back that are completely tinted?
And she's not very well endowed. At all. See "Bend It..."
