This response is hilarious. Like you posted that personal story, once again exhibiting how superficial and shallow you are, to get a rise out of me. Nice try, but I don't think so.

I like Oscar, actually. Nice guy. We had a weird conversation about how he was glad I wasn't like RT's last internet boyfriend. Apparently Oscar really isn't that comfortable being asked to peg a guy. Especially one that tall.
He seemed to be relieved that I was content to just sit back with a beer and talk.

Uh. No. Not at all.
And yes, I deleted posts (including posts from September by you and Penske), and yes I'll do it again, and I don't want to hear a single fucking word out of either you about this ever again, and I don't ever want to see either one of you spamming the boards like that ever again.
I delete Thottam when he pulls that crap, and I'm more than happy to delete you two.
eta: and your position on the guest list is tenuous at best.

I wholeheartedly support the above and reiterate my sincere apology to the Board for the prior spam incident and also reiterate my condemnation of Hank's violative act.
yours truly,

Smallball
I fucking hate it. The White Sox hit more HRs than the Red Sox, yet we're still playing "fundamental" baseball. The White Sox can't steal and can't bunt. Why do they keep trying? The 2005 White Sox and 2005 Yankees are the only two teams in MLB history to hit 200+ HRs six years in a row, yet we're still bunting for one run.
Podsednik could steal in the first half of the season, but his girlfriend, Lisa Dergen, must be doing something to slow him down (entirely possible). Here she is:

The glamour of literature and the gravitas of an awards program
This is stupid:
Quote:
The Quills, aiming to become become a flashier event than other literary awards, added "Oscar" touches like a red carpet for authors, comedy stars to entertain guests and some well known hosts from the television world.
. . .
The Quills mark a challenge to the more staid National Book Awards and the Pulitzer prize, which have tended toward works with strong literary merit but little public recognition. The award's promoters aim to gain the kind of recognition that the Booker Prize bestows on British authors.

Minnesota Vikings

Authorities are investigating whether Minnesota Vikings players were involved in allegations of criminal sexual conduct on charter boats Thursday on Lake Minnetonka.
A woman who apparently was working as a hostess on one of the boats called Mound police about 7:30 p.m. to report possible prostitution, drugs and sex acts, according to police reports. The information was coming from her brother’s girlfriend, who was working as a hostess on the boat, the report said. The girlfriend said the boat was chartered by the Minnesota Vikings.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating a report of alleged criminal conduct on an Al and Alma’s charter boat. “It was a stag party atmosphere on the boat with allegations of strippers and sexual conduct,’’ he said. “We’re still trying to sort things out at this time.’’
A Vikings official said the team would have no comment. Two hours after the Mound police received the call, another woman called to complain that six or seven men pulled up in a shuttle bus limo and urinated in her yard, police reports said. She followed the limo to Al and Alma’s, but she couldn’t identify the men, said Chief Jim Kurtz.
Maybe a farewell party for Mike Tice?
