Not all frenchmen are spineless
French weekly reprints cartoons, angers Muslims
Wed Feb 8, 2006 7:43 AM ET
By Kerstin Gehmlich and Swaha Pattanaik
PARIS (Reuters) - A French satirical weekly reprinted cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad on Wednesday and published one of its own on its front page, further angering Muslim groups which say the caricatures are blasphemous.

Perhaps Sebestian was referring to Theo Van Gogh. Remember that Van gogh, the Dutch film maker, was murdered by Mohammed Bouyeri, a 27-year-old radical Islamist, who admittedly acted out of religious conviction, and vowed to do the same again if given the chance. The Dutch court ruled the slaying "a terrorist act."
Couple Van Gogh's murder with the other 4186 terrorist acts commited by Islamics in the name of Muhammed since 911, and if there remained any doubt as to the impending danger of the jihadis to the West, this cartoon jihad should squelch such doubt with finality.
As Sebestian well realizes, if the West, or America and Denmark jointly, in the absence of any rational allies, continues to view this as a secularized matter that is about multicultural diversity and objective humanism then we are as walking dead as Theo VG is actually dead.

Yes, but there is something to be said about strategy and timing. We are in the process of slaying tons of Muslims. If our government forbade papers from publishing the cartoons, that would be one thing. But if our government chooses to keep a low profile over the debate, as part of a larger strategy, that is fine with me. The Danes may have the balls to publish those cartoons but our balls are bigger, since we've got men and women actually slaying nutty Muslims (and dragging them around naked on leashes, so we are well past cartoons). We prove our manlihood every day thank you.

Are you implying that you are a chick with a dick? Or are you just another NYD type of guy masquerading on the internet as a female?

First, its not my job. Second, I think that I did refute it Sebby, to some extent, although I agree with your three basic principles. You just refuse to acknowledge that there is any validity in anything I said.

They took one on the chin, and we'll all be better for getting this "problem" out in the open and resolved.

Why in the fuck do you think I advocate running and hiding from the issue? That just drives me nuts.

The reason you sound absurd and have not a stitch of persuasive value behind the shit you've tried to turn into an argument is because your position is illogical. Slapping you purple on this issue is like shooting fish in a barrel.

The only folks who think you beat me like a gong are the ones who agreed with you in the first place. (Which is probably true of most arguments on this board.)
Funny, I'm all slapped purple and I didn't think you'd laid a glove on me! Your argument here is a slightly more advanced version of putting your hands over your ears and shouting "LA! LA! LA! I can't hear you! I can't hear you! I'm right! I'm right!" louder and louder.
Boy, you sure got me -- go have that drink.
S_A_M
P.S. BTW -- when you say "I'm not going to address your mischaracterization of my argument. It is all there in black and white and it is your job to reute it." -- you again avoided discussing any substance and just went back to your 3 principles -- just like I said.
P.P.S. If my views are so fucked up and cowardly, you'd best get on the horn to the Bush administration. They have pretty much taken a similar approach in their response to this. Maybe they can explain the reasoning to you.

Coward and appeaser!
Wait until Sebby reads this. That master debater will slap you you purple, and beat you like a gong! I can't wait.

Blah blah blah. Go back and read what I wrote. Your position is a capitulation. The substance of my argument is exactly what I wrote.
As an aside, why is what Bush thinks even relevant? Are you suggesting he's infallible on foreign policy issues? Are you offering the simpleton argument that "Bush is not for capitulation, therefore, if I agree with Bush, I cannot be for capitulation"?*
I'm not indulging you any more on this. You're either an idiot or a jackass who simply refuses to give up when he's got a shit argument. Either way, this is a wasted endeavor. If it'll shut you up, I retract my gloating. In fact, I'll say you bested me. How's that? You win. You're a fucking rock star.
*Is that alegbra or geometry?

Okay, so S.A.M. lost this one very handily. Ty, on the other hand, made a few recockulous comments and then avoided the board when called on them. (Note to Ty: try that apology thing Sebby loves so much. Though I don't remember an apology when he offered up that "one free pass on crime" tidbit.)
Whatever. In other news, WTF with this sorry ass French chick who drugged herself up, let her dog chew half her face off, then nabbed the face of some poor young girl in a coma/veggie state later claiming she got her face from a dead chick, and now even though she is at risk of major infection and can barely speak and dribbles nonstop, is chain smoking all day at the hospital. Ew - she even smoked right through the bloody hole in her face,
"When I woke up I tried to light a cigarette and I couldn't understand why it wouldn't hold on my lips. It was then that I saw the sea of blood and my dog next to me," she explained of the horrific moments after the accident."
Jesus. With the price tag that face must have had, she could at least pluck her damn eyebrows. French people are so nasty.

Fringey- do you really hate the Hitler-Hank? It really is technically the best one, but it seems to attract negative feelings.
