That makes no sense.
Why would PP want someone to preserve her ovaries? Or Lester's?

Wait wait wait. Lester has ovaries?
I thought he was some big stud?
Does a lot of alcohol and sex force men to form ovaries?
Is that how woman was made? Alcohol and sex?

I thought bilmore was the only one who didn't watch any tv here.
Here's what you do:
Set it up so that your neighbor saves your life. Pass out behind the OM's car while he's backing out in clear eye shot of your dumbass neighbor. When he yells for the OM to stop, get up and say, "Okay, we're even. Now stay the fuck off my lawn."

Hamilton wins Liege-Bastogne-Liege
Hamilton first American to win Liege classic
LIEGE, Belgium, April 27 (Reuters) - Tyler Hamilton became the first American to win the 258-km Liege-Bastogne-Liege World Cup classic when he rode alone across the finish line on Sunday.
Hamilton, leader of Danish team CSC, used to be a domestique for friend, compatriot and Tour de France maestro Lance Armstrong who finished 20th, 50 seconds down.
The winner took control with 4 km to go and completed the race in six hours 28 minutes and 50 seconds. Spain's Iban Mayo (Euskaltel) came in second 12 seconds later and Dutchman Michael Boogerd (Rabobank) was third, 14 seconds after the American.

Speaking of Celebrity Bike Gossip...
Lance Armstrong and his wife, formerly headed for divorce amid reports of stress and rumors of adultery, are back together again.
I think this is the first 'positive' gossip I've ever reported here.

Speaking of Classic Remake Gossip
How did we miss this (or did I miss it in the threads)?
http://people.aol.com/people/sns/fea...446100,00.html
It's been reported that Nicole Kidman and Jim Carrey went on a date. It's true they did have dinner together recently at Nobu in Manhattan, but they had a chaperone: writer-director Nora Ephron. The trio met to discuss making a film version of the popular 1960s TV series Bewitched. "Nicole had been circling the project long before I got involved," says Ephron, who is writing the script with her sister Delia and will also direct. Kidman won't need to twitch a fake nose for this film: She looks just like Elizabeth Montgomery, who played Samantha. And Carrey, if he takes the role, is a dead ringer for the first Darrin, Dick York. Ephron will have a finished script later this year and hopes to start shooting in 2004.

So far behind I'll never catsup
O.k., I figured out you guys all left the GA board and found you all here (thank you to whoever posted it on the GA board.) Now I'm here, and there's one post saying "Fashionistas, we have arrived!" or some such. And then there are like 3400+ replies. There is no way in he** I'll ever get caught up! ![Smilie](http://www.lawtalkers.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif) So, here are are a few questions for ya'll:
1. Does anyone remember me? If so, I apologize for dropping off the face of the earth. Believe me, life has dealt me a pretty sh*tty hand over the past year, and you wouldn't have wanted me around b*tching and moaning anyway.
2. Does the board still do "on-topic" discussions? If so, let me know 'cause I've got a fashion question for everyone.
3. Hey, I guess I only have 2 questions, which doesn't qualify as a "few." So sue me.

She looks horrid, but I think we would have heard definitively if she were actually knocked up. I bet her metabolism has finally slowed.
Although, if she is knocked up, her tour with Timberlake this summer seems quite ambitious.

We're glad you're here.
1. Of course, we do. It's an unforgettable screen name. Welcome back.
2. Yes. It's still the same old board with most of the same folks, so ask away.

I receive e-mails from a subscription service. Some (not all) of these e-mail updates contain the heading "please feel free to forward this e-mail to friends or associates." Should I feel free to post them here (with appropriate citations & links to the originating site)? I've figured that, with that lead in, they would probably just be grateful for the wider dissemination of what is essentially teaser-bait for new subscribers.

Seriously, write to miss manners. You can e-mail her: http://womencentral.msn.com/firstper...issmanners.asp . I don't think I've seen Miss Manners tackle that one before, and I'll bet she'd love to.
My gut reaction is that, with time, the awe will rub off and things will settle down of their own accord, and you should just avoid exacerbating it by involving yourself more (frequently checking on the neighbor's health, or hanging about to help out, more than you otherwise would, etc.). And I'd try to avoid the sorts of social situations that create reciprocal obligations (dinner is the key one, but also other evening parties, theater, etc. - though of course all of this is probably seen as a payment of a reciprocal obligation on your neighbor's part).
Similarly, I wouldn't worry about suddenly being sucked into your neighbor's circle just because of the introductions. Those people probably weren't dying to meet you, either, but couldn't figure out how to politely refuse the introduction without appearing not to value the neighbor's survival. If invitations come, just say no, thank you, to avoid future entanglement.

Didn't seem polite to probe? Possibly the best unintentional pun the board has seen to date. I salute you, Ma'am.

This should not be so unusual
I love to read the weddings and celebrations section of the NY Times. I read one today about a 42 y.o. bride who met her 29 y.o. groom in the Peace Corps. I just thought it was cool.
That is all.
