And you care because? You made the effort to come up with a face-saving lie. If they betray your "friendship" by checking up on you, you're better rid of them.

What I don't get about nfh is that she posts all this celeb crap and then leaves off really interesting stories, like yesterday it came out Martha Stewart had her house arrest extended for a few weeks for some bad behavior, that even had a legal component. did the girl post it? no, she posts some other nonsense about cats.

We really might need to look into getting someone a little less erratic to look for news. Who hired her?
Leagl did.

In May, an art gallery in the San Francisco region opened a monthlong exhibit called "Gumby and Friends." ("Gumby is an icon," the head of the Arts and Cultural Foundation of Antioch, Calif., told The Associated Press.)

In June, the Museum of the Moving Image in New York opened a six-month exhibit on Gumby. ("The clay is medium and metaphor," the museum notes.)
And Aug. 5 and 6, StudioZ, an art gallery and concert house in San Francisco, plans a two-day Gumby festival.

What's behind this sudden fit of Gumbiness? A birthday — Gumby's 50th. Technically, it's not until next year — he didn't appear on TV until 1956. But the celebrations have begun early — like Gumby, this anniversary is flexible.

Hmmm, dissent. NFH might fuck him, but I doubt he would get a reach around.

Since my hotel room has a computer and printer, I have to give them the draft right there, which of course is less advanced than I have led them to believe, with uncombed hair, uncaffeinated, wearing nothing but a tank and panties. Rather horrifying. In one dream I also got a midpoint performance (no pun) review where the partner put his arm around me and said "You're not billing enough, but everyone likes your work. However, you can only coast on those impressive globes for another few months, so I'd suggest you get your act together and start billing a lot more."

The funny thing is, this particular partner is the LAST person who would put his arm around a female associate and comment on her ta-tas. I still feel a little funny when I see him in the hallway.
Are you pregnant in this dream?

eta: merde! STP!

Good grief. I have a few comments:

(1) Still much better than my "is it live or is it Memorex?" dreams.

(b) I really like the expression "impressive globes" -- it's much classier (sorry, paigow) than merely saying "nice rack."

(III) Great. Now I have to worry about what my Dream Persona says to the hot chicks at while they are sleeping. I oughta just bang Summer and get it over with.

If only it were a guy UP for partner, we'd get some answers.

These are not my friends and it is not my choice to keep in contact with them.

eta: that being said, I am sort of looking forward to the grape stomp now.

Forgive me for not keeping up, but I think that during your last Rude Fats crisis I was jumping out of a plane or doing some other crazy thing in another hemisphere.

I have a brother in law from hell who has been here for 6 days. this AM he went to the Airport to fly away. At 10 AM he called to tell us his flight had been cancelled. there are hints of massive labor related cancellations on Northwest. He is rescheduled to leave at 3. If this flight does not leave I shall be in a very bad mood after 3 and continuing in an ongoing manner until the problem is rectified.
