Dude, I tried. I tried.

I lost to God. What are you gonna do?
Whip out the cans, snap a photo, and post a link.

Gets the god out of a discussion quicker than a reverse-exorcism.

You are a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the posters of this Board and Fredland!

Why are breasts called cans? Seriously, they so don't look like cans to me (and trust me, I've looked).

Dunno. Drawing on my useless knowledge of sophomoric movies, however, I can state that the term goes back at least 20 years... As quoted by that legendary actor and "Dance Fever" replacement (for Denny Terio) Adrian Zmed in Bachelor Party (that Hanks guy was in it, too):

"I wish I had someone I could really respect. Hey, look at the cans on that bimbo!"

Verily, even jackals offer their cans to nurse their young, but BoldnBrazen, has become heartless, like an ostrich in the desert.

Verily, two breasts are like two fawns, like twin fawns of a gazelle that browse among the lilies.

Fuck no he doesn't. Fact is, Thurgreed even picks up disgruntled visitors in Roller Coaster Tycoon and drops then in the lagoon to drown.

but then, you've seen the tape.
The sighing kittenish mews are my favorite part. The tape was stretching out, but I had it transfered to dvd. And digitally remastered!

Do you discount that God could have an ego? Is it beyond the realm of possibly that someone in a position of authority and control would want a little ass-kissing? Do you work at biglaw?

TGI think this joke has gone from poking fun at paigow to most of you actually trying to take credit for something. and that makes it beyond played out.

TM
When I first read this, as always i thought i'd take your constructive criticism to heart, and never do an "I invented" post again.

Then, with reflection I realized this would be unfair to the board generally and you in particular. Let me explain:

Why does one post*?
All posts are driven by vanity- we think we can amuse, or educate, or contradict, or flame- but at the heart is a belief that some thought in our brain should be spread across this electronic table we share. That T. is vanity at its purest.

When I do an "I invented", I do believe it; I'm not teasing paigow. It is a manifistation of my vanity, as are all my posts.
I digress, but even your posts sometimes bear a hint of vanity.

You postulate that "I invented" posts are "played out" since they are based upon ego. I submit this is a diffficult test to follow in that all posts are ego-based. I suppose you could argue "I invented" posts are even MORE ego based than most.

Let go to your main thesis: "I invented" posts are strongly ego- based and "played."
I would never question your pronouncement of what is played. You know this sort of thing; surely i cannot shake the opinion.

But here is the rub- if an "I invented" post is 80% vanity, and thus not good for posting, then a line should be drawn to exclude such posts and all which are even more vanity.
In particular, the "its played" post is 86% vanity. If the "I've invented" is played as too much vanity, then QED, so is the "thats played" post. J'accuse Thurgreed, J'accuse!

This would be too slippery a slope. The board needs you to point out for it that which is played. Thus, we cannot draw the line you urge. I will thus continue with "I invented" posts.

*target of anticipated response
