Not for about 9 months (I think raises are effective in March sometime).

Isn't it interesting that the "he's gay" rumors in the NFL almost always involve the quarterbacks? I think they are probably all spread by the linemen who are sick of the prettyboys getting all the attention. Do we have any real reason to think he's gay other than the fact he has chosen a profession that allows him to spend a bunch of time touching some guy's ass? List of quarterbacks that I have heard are gay:

Steve Young
Troy Aikman
Jeff Garcia

Good point. Maybe I am being judgmental. But I never thought Steve Young or Troy Aikman were gay. And I couldn't care less if Jeff Garcia is or is not. I just wouldn't want to fuck him.

Kickers aren't considered to be NFL players by other NFL players.

There were also rumors in the 80s about another running back I won't name.

As for Garcia, I think that he gets the stories because, well, as the Not Bobette put it when she heard him interviewed last year, "he sounds gay." Whatever that means.
