				      | Who would have thought that a Rice Krispie Treat beer cozy would work better than a foam one? OTOH, I'm not surprised that bagels and glazed donuts did not work well.

   | the rice krispie one will get your hand all sticky-gross, especially on a hot day. I'd go with the bagel.

 | If you got a foam one that thick, I'll bet it would perform as well. Rice crispies, like foam, are mostly air.

When the latter occurred, I drove over to her house and rang the doorbell. She answered. I stood there holding the mix tape she made for me (I don't recall any of the songs, but I guarantee one of them was by Bell Biv Devoe). I showed the tape to her and broke it in half with one hand. It was truly dramatic. Oh how she cried. Good times!

After, I was so amazed that I actually broke the tape with one hand, I attempted to reenact it at home. I couldn't do it.

				Candied Bacon

I had read elsewhere, and then forgotten, that bacon is the new, hot ingredient in desserts. To confirm this trend, the latest Gourmet has a recipe for Candied Bacon.
Basically, you cook bacon and then you sprinkle sugar on it and cook it until it carmelizes.

If anyone actually wants the recipe, I can post in on the cooking thread.

Perfect Bacon Martini
Lightly mist martini glass with vermouth, and rim the edge with bacon grease. In a cocktail shaker, mix 3oz vodka, one dash tabasco, and one dash olive juice. Shake well and strain into cocktail glass. Skim excess bacon grease from surface of cocktail. Garnish with one slice of bacon.
