she is walking on TCOTU sidewalks. It's a self-fulfilling limitation on burning calories. "I couldn't really move too quickly on my walk along 4th avenue today because of all the tourist traffic. I'm hoping tomorrow will be emptier!"

Thank you. weaving in and out of fanny pack clad tourists during holiday season is a limitation.
Plus I walk to the train and back morning/night. That's more. and I run on weekends. And cut out pasta and rice.

I wonder if there are a lot of sidewalk-crowding fats who open their umbrellas in a mist because they have never gotten the concept of wearing a hood.

Just ambling along (not running, not walking fast) the AVERAGE person (i.e., not me - not people who walk fast) walks a mile in about 20 minutes.
20 up/downtown blocks to a mile. Go 15 blocks one way, and 15 back.

Cool, thanks. I will calculate tomorrow and try it and see how I do.
What are the long blocks in between the cross streets?

I was thinking about trying Pilates. The new studio near me charges $25 per hour class, is it really worth it?

it cannot address the "waking up sore" issue. Well, I guess if I took advil right before bed, and then set my alarm for 5 hours later, I might not be sore then, and took some more, I might not be sore when I woke up in the morning. But that's a lot of effort, and is silly.

Which reminds me, why the fuck won't Itunes sell any T.Rex other than that overrated "Electric Warrior" record? I also call bullshit on their not having a Slade catalog. Those old versions of "Cum on Feel the Noize" and "Mama We're All Crazee Now" are great.
|
As I understand it, the problem lies with the greedy-ass record companies. They want to sell the songs on iTunes, but not pay any royalties to the artists. The artists are incilined to say "fuck you, if you're selling the music, you're paying a royalty."

I'm assuming we are all only listing states or countries where we have stayed long enough to have had sexual intercourse. (or for Atticus had an orgasm).

For mat class, or with the machines? I have never done a mat class. I think overall having private and semi-private lessons for a time was a great investment; I have a better idea how I should be holding my body, etc. You may already know how. And I don't know how much $25 means to you. ETA if you were an "I'm rich, bitches" person I would say definitely worth it.

If you're not that sore, stop complaining and appreciate the fact that you know your muscles are getting some work. Put on some jeans and go hiking.

Take an epsom salt bath before bed. You may still wake up sore, but it will be a more pleasant pain, and you won't be quite so stiff. Make sure you use a lot of epsom salts - buy the big package.
And then, dear, have a nice glass of warm milk and mama will read you a story. Jeebus. I am out of control with the eat this apple instead of a cookie and take a warm bath and be nice to the helpless among us shit.
