I dont think the kids have balls. I think they are stupid.
THough if I was in an office that had windows that opened I might drop some water balloon. Souds like fun. Maybe best done on a lower floor though.

As a childe, in my youth, in the late 50s, one New England winter, we set about to ambush the postman on a semi-regular basis with sno-balls. I think he played along until the day he get hit full on in the side of the face with a slush ball. Good thing it was a blindside attack and he did not see nor could the local constable later prove which kids were there.
Omerta baby, omerta.

Why am I reminded of Big Brother and Soviet kids turning in their parents? Questioning authority should be encouraged, not squelched.

Are you a rightwingnut jackboot? Question authority! It's not only your right, but your patriotic duty. You trust the Bush led gestapo forces that have set upon us?!!?

Ha, we just agreed with each other. Too bad you can't see my post.
Anyhoo, as youth, in my adolescent, in the 60s, I dropped some wicked acid and was driving home wasted from a Nam protest march. The local constable brought me in and shackled me to his desk in his office. He left the room to go to the men's room so I peed in his desk drawer.
Hopefully he learned his lesson.

Are you kidding? The only things I regret in life are when I was too scared to so something. This guy was a total jerk and he got what he deserved. It is not like he is a police officer. He was some county hack with a napoleon complex.

Really? Is that true? And he didn't figure it out until after he let you go?

Well, if we are going to assume that the kids are questioning authority, then it's some kind of civil disobedience, right? And they should be ready to suffer the punishment -- and then publicize it. Or whatever.
Basically, I want kids to shut the fuck up on airplanes and other public places, and if they have no respect for any adult at all, then that's not going to happen.

Fuck, then I question your authority to keep your own property. I will be taking whatever I want, and I expect no one to turn me in to the authorities. Because turning me in would be like soviet kds turning in their parents.

That's a bit of an overstatement. She's 25, remember?

Maybe I should have kids
Because this whole thing is making me understand why so many kids out there have an incredible sense of entitlement and an utter lack of regard for others. Even I could do better.
I hope the deer gets hit by a car while wandering around Spanky's house, looking for that great water stuff, and someone tells the kid it's her fault as she watches the life fade from the deer's eyes.
eta stuff.

If this is an animal control person, they are hacks. I have extensive experience dealing with these clowns in my lobbying effourts in the emerald city.
The only lower form of life here are Seattle are its City Council members and the Seattle Police ( eta:and Washington state's fraudulent governor). Those two groups make the Al Qaeda fellowes look like decent joes.

I'm sure you would have explained to your kids that giving the deer water is against the law, and why that is the case, and would have explained that while Mr. Animal Control Officer is perhaps not a nice person, it is his job to keep people from giving stuff to the deer, and that we have to obey and respect the law.
I also want the little girl to run to Spanky, hysterical, asking why he didn't tell her she shouldn't give the deer water, and then shun him as that bad man down the street forevermore.
I'm feeling a little pissy.
