I guess some turn out okay. But some turn into sock-stealing change agents, some turn into resume fabulists, and others sit around talking about their dicks on the internet.

I have 2 degrees from Harvard.
Notice how the "get nice" policy has killed the board? everyone has permission to be mean to me, but you waive your own "expect nice treatment" from me.

Why does the "h" become a "y"? It doesn't do that in heir or homage or herb. Herb isn't Yerb.

pronounce:
Greenwich (as in mean time). now, for lunch did you have a sand-ich?
It's all part of the wonder that is our complex language. Celebrate it, don't fight it.

everyone picks on my incoherence [see, in re: flower] but every time I post 2 times out of 10 everyone pounces on a word I use as unusual. funny, no? I'm inarticulate but articulate? or verbose.

"Wich" a celtic term for saltworks. Yet another of the fascinating things I learned from reading Salt by Mark Kurlansky. I can't wait to read its predecessor Cod: A Biography of the Fish That Changed the World, winner of the prestigious James Beard Award for food writing.

Atticus and I got into a bitchy slap fight about prosecutorial misconduct or something and he disappeared.
I actually have no idea if his disappearance was following this incident much less if it was causally related to it, but I think he disappeared around this time frame.
