I don't think it has. Maybe it has and I'm not aware of some of it, because people were more subtle about it and it was NYC-centered. I think there are a lot of jokes based on shit that happened on the board in the past, mixed in with some stuff about things that happened off the board that isn't described. I think the first is very different from the second, and the second annoys me when done in excess (like, the only posts contributed or just post after post of it). Yes, I am aware I am being a huge hypocrite because I do it sometimes too.
I'm just saying, it's really annoying, and commenting to Shifty that on this board, the inside stuff from off the board has formed a large proportion of his posts of late.
I am not under any illusion that me expressing a dislike of something is going to stop it from happening, particularly on the boards. |
