Did it come with a toaster? If not, I'd complain.

Didn't the home plate ump signal "out" though? The point means strike, the raised fist means out.
And umps started press conferences at some point in the last few years. Seems pretty cheesy. Live with the calls; let the league office make statements, like they do in the NFL.

What could be worse than collecting lunchboxes, you ask?
Ok, so despite the new Mr. Bunny's public persona of machoness, I'm getting dragged to see Savion Glover tonight. For those of you who are performing arts illiterate, he's a tap dancer. That's right, my NCAA-playing-scholarship-free-loading-I-didn't-even-have-to-apply-to-college-they-just-sent-me-an-acceptance-letter-cause-I-play-basketball-flavor of the month is dragging me to tap dancing. So, I'm bitching about it to my best friend this morning and she said "perhaps we can swap....you can take my deadbeat husband and I'll go to tapdancing...I've always had a thing for tapdancing, you know. You have a dwarf fetish and I have a tap dancing fetish"
So, my best friend and my piece of rebound ass are both tap dancing freaks.
Thurgreed, would you please shoot me?

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Could be worse. Could be musical theater.

I thought he said that was part of his strike-calling mechanic. Although, I must admit I'm still confused about it. Baseball tonight showed him making the same motion on a number of different occasions (I hate this word, it never looks like it's spelled right to me; it should be "ocassion" or "occassion" -- crap, those look wrong too) and implied that he hadn't formally signalled him out yet.
Whatever. I thought he should be out because he left the batters box in the opposite direction. How far do they get to go towards their dugout before they can no longer change their minds and run to first?
Either way, I'm glad Anaheim got screwed. I hate Scioscia. And all that extra bullshit their pitchers do after they strike someone out pisses me off too.*

Into the dugout. Until then, they're not out.

Don't worry about it. I have three friends who are heavily into tap. Nice guys.
All gay as cheese, of course, but nice.

1. How is getting an athletic scholarship linked to freeloading?
2. Where did he play?
3. I don't think you know anything about Savion Glover. This ain't yo' daddy's tap dancing. Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk was amazing and Glover choreographed it. What you picture as tap dancing ain't shit. Hell, even historically, black tap dancers were quite different from the Fred Astaires and Gene Kellys. You just haven't been exposed to them.
4. Are you dating a black man?

Cheese? Terrible analogy. Cheese is a very macho foodstuff. You wouldn't go around saying "gay as cheese" in Lambeau Field.* One would have to be a macho Singer-For-Judas-Priest biker gay to be "gay as cheese." I doubt your tap dancing gay friends are of that subgenus of the persuasion.
*Please do not tell me I've pulled a John Kerry and spelled it wrong. I don't care.
