You either have to be a prisoner or a state worker. Or, I could be incredibly incredibly old.
Or a murder with a laptop.

* I understand the psychic benefits of the process, but what are the ends? Once scarves have been created for family members and pets, what should we expect next?

I ask because Ms. Gap has taken to the needles as well. Their sharp points adequately dampen the temptation to mock (for now), but still, I fear for the future.

Many thanks,

I only make shit for me. Sweaters, cardigans etc. I don't make scarves.

Isn't "fisting" a knitting stitch?

Yes, there is knitting lingo, most of which exists as acronyms in the knitting blogs and posts to various yahoogroups. Terms you may hear in conversation include swatch, stash enhancement, frog, rip, KIP, and porcupine wrestling. DPNs, or double pointed needles, are the most dangerous weapon in the knitters arsenal.

Once the scarf has been mastered anything is possible:

a uterus-

an edible thong-

a grenade-

I think both of you are fucking retarded. But I'm glad to see you're wearing your helmet more often.

Your new avatar is incredibly annoying and un-clever. You should go back to a supermodel or risk being scrolled over completely.

Could one of the Mods please offend Paigow in some way so she'll get back "on the wagon" again...this getting on and falling off and getting on again routine is very tiresome.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Whiff.

Or in other words, my attempt at getting a phoned-in knee jerk response from Paigow was successful. There was no hat, dumbass, unless Pavlov's dog* was wearing it.
