Hhmm, the kid's an athlete and massage is therapuetic and rejuvenative. I think everyone should do it to some extent. When I was an athlete I did body work and/or alternative healthcare treatments 1-2 times a week for years on end. I was certainly healthier than I am now and I don't really see a difference as to whether you are 6 or 36.
Its holistic healthcare. You should be down wth that Paigs.

As a parent, Penske, how wouod you feel about your children wandering in and out of a large house set on two acres inhabited by a single Fortyish man who is at home by himself most of the day typing on the Internet? Would that not trouble you a little in a Michael Jackson kinda way?
|
Depends on how old the kids are and how well I knew him. Regardless, sharing a bed with him would be uncool. For the kids. YMMV

What if the same man were encouraging the kids to ignore/rebel against what the authority (read mom/dad) told them is right and wrong? Would that change your opinipon?

I don't know. I think its relative. If people, young or old, were more proactive in ensuring their physical health and taking care of their bodies then there would be less old people sucking off the public healthcare dole.
I am open to something empirical that shows that body work has a detrimental or negligible affect on kids (as contrasted with its affect on adults) but based on what I know I am skeptical such evidence exists.

I have actually seen studies that says massage offers no benefits, period. I choose to ignore them.
And the reason the elderly are sucking off public health is the Meat and Corn Syrup industires. And fast food. All that shit causes cancer and heart attacks and fatness. I think there should be a alw that says if you vow not to eat fast food or processed food, you get a big tax break.

I would ignore that from personal experience. I know it does have a positive affect.
