I got within 80 km of Reykjavik and Glasgow. I missed Instanbul by about 1000 Turkish kms. I was probably thinking Constantinople. Been a long time gone, Constantinople.

what does it mean to be "within 40km," or "within 10" of cities that are much larger than 40km?
