Am I confused, or is Washington a toss? It doesn't look like it has a pink or blue border. Which, frankly, surprises me. Penske, put down the pom-poms and the megaphone for a moment and tell me whether there's any real chance that Washington will go red.

I'm not contesting the bottom line numbers, but the state by state analysis seems way off to me.

understand if its not strong Kerry you will lose it in november... here's your host
I am a Kerry supporter, and the cartoons, jokes, etc. have been chosen accordingly. If you are a Kerry supporter, an independent, a moderate Republican or even a conservative Republican with a sense of humor, you will probably enjoy them. Despite my political preference, I have bent over backwards to be scrupulously honest about all the numbers, and have carefully designed the main page to be strictly nonpartisan. You have to click on the menu items below the map to get the good stuff.
that's like on the adult page saying all preferences can post. Ty, right now i'll let you buy out for half price. there are others struggling now to pay off gambling debys to the board and me. i don't want to impact on your children's book funds.

Maybe Atticus will come back and tell us his source, but I've seen sites like this that do a pretty rigorous job of tracking recent polling from specific states.

A devious democratic trick if there ever was one. Penske, register your socks. All of them.
And then come here and tell Ty that, yes, there's a real chance.

Its probably weak Kerry. Last time it was 50-45-4 Gore-W-Nader. Gore probably polled higher than Kerry will due to familiarity and Clinton. I think the Gorton-Cantwell senate race was more indicative of the ideological split which is close to 50-50. Seattle is hardcore leftwing tree hugging granola munching dem and the rest of the state is pretty solid pickup truck with a shotgun rack republican. It may come down to how Nethercutt does against Patty Murray and which of those two have longer coattails, if and to the extent either has any.
In seattle, Bush definitely has me, Mario my cubicle mate is sort of a middle of the road rino but he lost a bet to me and has to vote for W. I have already threatened my wife with divorce if she doesn't vote W, so we have 3 in Seattle right now.

It's probably a transactional vs. litigation thing, but judicious omission is the only storytelling technique we're allowed in the courtrooms of most states. So don't edit my posts to add "helpful" information --- you might be fucking up my point. TIA.

Holy shit, dude. Was that a substantive, incisive, analytical post by Penske? What is this, bizarro world?!?! Either that, or we've found Bilmore.

Non. But in the good news/bad news category, I've been checking this site frequently, and the tally shifts from blue to red and back almost daily. At one point last week, they were even tied! Que horror!
The only poll that matters is held on 11/2.

You're trying to add to his Christ complex? You're a cruel man, Hank. A cruel and bitter man.

John Kerry's funny looks are accentuated when standing next Edwards. i don't think this will help him.
