What a crock. I'm not at all a Notre Dame fan, and I think the racial angle will be tremendously overblown, but this still sucks. The guy comes across as a class act, his team plays hard, and he only gets three seasons? And the first season he didn't have much of a recruiting class because of the timing of his hiring.

If I'm a Division I athletic director or a pro team, I put this guy on speed dial and call him the minute it's official.
FWIW, many who saw him coach at Stanford thought he was a stand-up guy but not all that as a coach.

Yes, but at least he never lost to Cal. Not like the current guy anyways.

What you really want to know is, is it the most prestigious wine opener on the market?

From my perspective, Teevens rules. He's like the Stanford version of Tom Holmoe. Think USC would hire him too?

Gilligan

Ok, this show blows. That being said:

1) That Kate "Mary Ann" is a biscuit. Damn!!!

2a) When did Rachel Hunter get so...er...zaftig?

b) I still cannot decide whther I'd prefer her or Eggert.

3) "Less than 3 million"? That's a Bay Area homeowner for pete's sake. They clearly picked these two merely to get that pcok-marked bigot on the show to stir the soup.

4) Does Gilligan II have Down Syndrome?

Thank you for spelling "tenterhooks" correctly.

This is the kind of fact pattern that gave my Crim Pro prof a woodie.

Man "robs" gas station clerk mom as joke; then things get a little pear-shaped.

... to the poster who said that Die Hard was her/his favorite Christmas movie.

I shamelessly borrowed that line, used it at a schmoozefest with a few potential clients last night, got big laughs, and received a new case from one of the laughers.

Ollie, I'll be borrowing "muse to the fucktards" for the Independent Retail Grocers Federation's annual Slip and Fall Conference next month.

I think it was gwinky, but it's also my favorite Christmas movie. Though the first Lethal Weapon is also a good one.
