If Santa Monica is so mean to the homeless

Call me a sick shit, but I have lain awake at 3:00 a.m listening to some screaming crack ho or hop-head and fantasized about committing the perfect murder. They would be so easy if one was completely random and careful.

My lesser fantasy involves a pellet gun and my rooftop.

She'd probably stop screaming if you'd just unchain her from the radiator in the corner of your room. I'm just sayin'.

You've nothing but your own low self esteem to blame for that. And its not her fault you got that damned drunk.

I did the rooftop and pellet gun thing. Its overrated.

My brother has had amazing success with simply a laser pointer.

Ollie's quicker than you, but then again we already knew that from Thurgreed's momma.

I was coming in from a slightly different angle. That makes all the difference...

After all the positive reviews, I'd been saving up for that encounter. Didn't anticipate the corresponding hair trigger effect, sadly. On the positive side, Thurgreed's momma's skin never looked better.

You can have your tall, lumbering white boys. I'll take these compact, smooth-chested, South East Asian boys wit da moves. Yowza.

Those things are a lot of fun, but some people who've lived in fucked up areas don't find that prank all that funny.

So, Malibu and Manhattan Beach are nicer, but yet they all hang out in Santa Monica? I don't buy it. But I could see maybe that SM has lots of public parks/public areas (even other than the beaches) that may make it in some ways more hospitable on a physical, if not a legal, level.
Also, what's their definition of "mean?" Maybe the non-homeless tend to give more money or help there, but the police are aggressive and there aren't as many public shelters.

Because everyone who is homeless is a crack ho or hop-head. But even if they were, you'd still be a sick shit.

For the crazy guitar guys AND the Springsteen groupies (is there any overlap in those two demographics?): New York Guitar festival kicks off with Nebraska

It's a three week festival, and though it's possible to devote three weeks to Springsteen, I think the focus of the festival is a little broader.

ETA:
Quote:
Besides the "Nebraska" tribute, the opening weekend features an eight-hour "Guitar Marathon" on Sunday at the 92nd Street Y, celebrating 450 years of Spanish guitar. Other highlights include tributes to Delta blues legends, live film soundtrack performances and concerts by Bill Frisell, Daniel Lanois and the classical guitarist Stephen Aron.
