Taking your babysitter to the movies, huh? You liberals are always doing stuff like that.

I occasionally read old Peoples at the gym. It might be the stupidest thing ever printed.
I still think Finch is hot, but I think it's b/c she's a combination of athlete and porn-star.

At least People has articles. US has only two sentence blurbs for the uber-ADD* folk.

*which means it should be right up your alley.

She really needs to do something about those bushy eyebrows.

Are you kidding me?!? Maybe I get a different Neiman's catalog, but I am always shocked at how frumpy and matronly the models in that catalog look (enough so that I actually remember the models in a store catalog!). Even mr.dtb (who doesn't really notice these things -- he'll notice especially hot chicks, but doesn't really comment on the average) looked over my shoulder as I was rifling through it and asked, "Why do they get such skanky models for this catalog?".

(Maybe I misunderstood you -- like the time I thought you meant Patch Adams was a favorite movie of yours.)

PS -- What is the genesis of TCB? I thought it was an acronym for "Checking the Box" or some such thing -- but then shouldn't it be "CTB"? Is this in the FAQ? That was a long damned time ago -- I remember the office I was sitting in when that term was coined, and it was 3 offices, and at least 6 or 7 years ago (is that possible?!?)

But really, given the content, I think US is the most efficient means of getting this useless information.* It's like the USA Today version of People.

*To wit, I learned that former Ms. Future Andrew Firestone Jen Schett is romantically involved with the Apprentice Bill Rancic, but that 76% of those polled think Firestone is hotter than Rancic. That's all the information I need on the subject, yet People would string it out to a couple of pages.

Different demographics.

You're on the "frumpy and matronly specials" list.

When you've always gotten the top of the line, like Sebastian has, frumpy and matronly can be exotic.

I started to read this, but kind of lost steam midway through the first paragraph.

Got anything that's all pictures?

Ditto.

I didn't say I didn't read it. How am I going to know what normal, everyday people things these stars are doing without US?

"They get traffic tickets"
"They walk their dogs!"

I always thought it was a sly reference to the fact that Elvis Presley spent his older, fatter years laying around and whacking off.

That is a big part of her allure. I've never been a fan of the hyper-plucked eyebrow look. Full eyebrows look more passionate.

It's like saying right after Dirty Dancing that Jennifer Grey should do something about her nose.

No need to run -- the thought did cross my mind. I deluded myself into thinking that they send me the "high-end" catalog because they know the unconscionable amount of money I spend on clothing, which they assume only older women do. I know -- it's a stretch; don't ruin my fake reality! I'll bet they can buy that information (how much an individual spends on clothing, for example) from VISA, though. Am I right?

By the way, the day without the board must have affected me more than I was willing to admit; however, there's no fooling the subconscious! I had a dream (a nightmare, really) that the IT department of my firm found out that lawtalkers was really a chat site, and made it so you had to have a special password. I was devastated. Luckily, it was one of those occasions when relief flooded over me upon waking, and realizing it was only a dream.

(Note to Bilmore -- another example of the hyphen making all the difference: extra-marital sex vs. extra marital sex.)
