If the one guy really wanted to brawl, he would have jumped on Artest as soon as Artest jumped on his friend.

But I don't think the fans are as stupid as the players. In a one-on-one fight, sure they'd get killed. But mob rules rule. I don't care how huge you are, you're the bigger idiot if you challenge hundreds of fans in a hostile stadium.

I actually would bet that the fan who got clocked three times in the face is finding it somewhat easier to reproduce and pass along his genetic material in the days since that happened, suggesting a problem with Gattigap's reading of Darwin.

Anything's possible, I suppose, though this would take starfucking to a new low, or pityfucking to a new high.

Know what I did? I threw 5 of them away. Talk about wasteful.
You should have given them to goodwill. Might have encouraged some winos to trade up to wine with corks.

I have heard that some really good wines are being sold with corkless stoppers. And Target now sells wine cubes.

In fact, it was after many a broken cork that I finally bought myself the Anna.
I bought non-cork corked wine at a tiny winery in the Wachau along the Danube River valley outside of Vienna. I'm still not really sure what the non-cork cork was.

Your reign is over cork!

12 minutes a year?

I'm reading the front page of Salon.com and they're talking about orgasms. The teaser claims that the average person only orgasms 12 minutes a year. That seems depressingly low to me. I estimate mine probably last between 30 seconds and good minute and a half, at least five times a week, so that comes (heh heh) to a little over four hours of ecstacy a year.

Am I the only one thinking that they're off?

BTW, "O: An Intimate History of the Orgasm" will probably end up being a Christmas present for a bunch of people this year. Act surprised if you get it. "Aside from the need to breathe and eat," writes Jonathan Margolis, "the pursuit of orgasm has been one of the strongest single determinants of human behavior throughout history."

ETA: The Salon article says that the author was previously under the impression that women come by penetration alone and he was shocked to find out that banging away for hours on end isn't exactly what we want. Are the more enlightened men of the FB also under this impression?
