For the record, anyone around here who has sex with me, I have a preference for no socks. Socks off. Bare feet.

Wal-Mart Supply Socked

From New York to Los Angeles and from the Baja to Calgary, store managers everywhere have been astounded by what appears to be a calculated mass purchase of socks.
"I haven't seen anything like it" says Phineas "Phee" Mullins, Senior Manager of the Southeast Division of Wal-Mart. "Hundreds of men have flocked to each of our stores and purchased every single pair of socks we had on-site. It was incredible."
Reports have surfaced that some men sacked a nearby Williams-Sonoma and placed oven mitts on their feet.....

Paging dorkwad purists.
The original (i.e., without the crappy new CGI effects added in 1997 "Special Edition" versions) Star Wars trilogy is now available for pre-order on Amazon. It's on sale. Use the Lawtalkers tip jar, fanboy.

anything sung by margo timmins is a fuck tape. this is not to say that one should only fuck to margo timmins.

I've heard good things about Tool's cover of the Ramones' "Commando." Myself, I think playing something like that would be emasculating. Smart chicks know when you're compensating.

At summer tournaments there's the dunk contests. You eliminate players round by round. This summer a 14 year kid stayed in for a few rounds because the MC kept saying "C'mon he's 14!" Meanwhile he's doing straight dunks, and he's eliminating guys jumping OVER people. There's always been this subjective standard- little guys get some slack compared to taller guys. Considering no WNBA players has dunked live, if she even just straight dunked, its an accomplishment, but still.

Was Lisa Leslie dead when she dunked in the WNBA?

I believe she did it during a game in 2002. I'm sure Sports Center will go over the stats and highlights tonight.
ETA - Link to ESPN article here. Leslie was the first woman to dunk in a WNBA game.
