Therein lies the problem. In drafting a dress code, can you say Strappy sandals are work appropriate only for those of you with cute feet and sexy legs. It's a different kind of place. Sheltered, warm. Unlike here, the site is not anonymous -- members disclose as much about themselves as they wish, the site is largely password-protected, and active admins and mods try to filter out the freaks. I don't think Hank is a member, though Lactation Lover is probably there, posing as an overworked mother of three in Muncie, Indiana.

Topics vary, but typically revolve around the usual suspects of kids, breastfeeding, gossip, etc. Flaming is frowned upon, and emoticons are apparently used to a sickeningly sweet extent. Obviously, many of us here would have a hard time relating to this kind of place, but stay with me for a moment.

SO starts cackling last night and tells me to come look at this thread. Seems that one of the members is gushing about a three-way she did with her hubby and another guy.

(As an aside, I'm tempted to criticize the writing. Even after 3 readings, I still could glean very little salacious material from it. Goddamn thing was written like a passage from a bad romance novel, and double anal was not even mentioned once. I was also a bit amused to see the multiple, somewhat embarassed responses of "Oh! Um, uh, thanks for sharing!" leave the overall impression that the poor woman had just farted in public, but whatever.)

But that's not my point. Point is, I was quite surprised to see folks share their 3-way amongst a wide group of people that they KNEW. Here on LT, the forum is ostensibly anonymous, and even to the extent that it's not, the prevailing assumption seems to be that the poster describing the outrageous sex act is full of shit. (See, e.g., Mr. Finch, supra.)

We've beaten the three-way discussion rather thoroughly on this board, but I was curious about this, so:

Poll: Would you describe your three way to a wide group of people who you actually know (and who know you)?

I have several close girlfriends who know way too many intimate details of my personal life.

I would not, however a friend described our three-way (in which he fell asleep!!! - because he smoked too much pot (or so I tell myself)) to a room full of people. Fortunately, I did not know them too well and I was dressed as Morticia Addams (it was Halloween) so I did not feel embarassed. He thought it was funny that he fell asleep. Very funny indeed.

Just as an fyi, and because you may be wondering, I have had a three-way in which no-one fell asleep. Not that that says anything about my boringness or lack thereof in a three-way.

I think the fact that you've had more than one three-way rules out "boring" as an appropriate adjective to describe you.

It's clear that Locke has a rich fantasy life that involves playing military-based role-playing games (and also believing phone-sex girls are his girlfriend). I believe the phone call was from a friend/co-worker who was also into role-playing. Locke and the friend were merely "in character" during that phone call, and could have simply been psyching each other up for their big battle during lunch hour. His superviser is aware of Locke's role-playing and derisively calls him "colonel" as he walks by.

I took the whole thing as emphasizing the contrast between who Locke acutally is, and who he wants to be. On the island, it seems he has a chance to actually be the tough-guy character he was pretending to be. He's a possibly psychotic Walter Mitty.

Aren't they all dead? I watched it last night for the first time, and only half of it, but I saw where Locke found he could walk and him killing the monster... It just seemed like they were caught in some limbo world and they are living out their fantasies... But I want to know more, so if any of you tv junkies can enlighten me on the first two (or did I miss more) that would be great.
