I haven't heard the silver jewelry in particular, but I remember about the time I was coming out a lot of younger lesbians, say teens up through thirties, would wear a lot of silver rings. Yahoo has added an RSS module to the My Yahoo! page so you can have constantly updated news streams from news sources and blogs.

It's still in beta, but it is fully functional.

I overheard a conversation in an elevator today involving a dude (a Chinese dude, for those of you keeping track...) proclaiming (and lamenting -- actually more Dennis-Miller-ranting) that you could go outside on the street and would have a hard time finding 3 people who could name 10 countries in Africa (while I understand the point he was making, that's probably not true, as you'd probably find several Africans that would be able to perform that feat... but I digress).

I thought to myself -- how stupid -- of course people could name 10 countries in Africa, but then I thought, "Hmmm, actually, he's probably right" (well, but for that "there's lots of Africans around here" loophole I so lawyerly discovered!)

Then again, you'd probably be hard-pressed to find 3 people who could name all 50 states, so I guess it's not really rant-worthy.
