That is so 2004. Now you know what is so 2005? Promising to get someone Black Crowes tickets and then forgetting to.

Unclear if this little episode has five years' worth of staying power, but at least we're off to a good start.

Why share that?

Edited to note that the women who have so far responded to my posting on the other site at least all appear to be non-desparate and normal. Not hot at all, but normal. I think we can guess which way I'll be swinging for the next little while.
Isn't that how women become gays? THey look around and realize they will never find a normal guy and develop a taste for salty roast beef?

I think that is more so 1990-93. Well before Chris was confused for a homeless man.

How about the guy who's 47 but is willing to date women "18 to 29". He's a keeper too.

Oh, and one more word of advice. If he's wearing a hat in all of the pictures in his profile, he's bald.

One of my favorites was the guy who e-mailed me and told me that he didn't care if I was interested in him or not, but he wanted me to at least e-mail him back and tell him I wasn't interested b/c he'd e-mailed over 50 women and none of them had responded to him. Gee, that really makes me want to date you. And chat with you over e-mail.

Online dating can be a great way of meeting people, but you have to be willing to play the numbers game and have the time to meet 10 people with whom you have no chemistry for every one person you end up wanting to see again.
Oh, and if you see anybody named Catluuvr or Erogynist, definitely give them a reply.

But don't bother if you see an ugly white doctor with a pied a terre in the city and a mansion in the country. He is only into Asians. Hmmm, ATticus?

And I would make that number 100 to 1.

More or less embarrasing than misspelling "caucasian"?

Marcia Cross coming out?

According to Defamer, Desperate Houswives' Marcia Cross is going to come out by being on the cover of an upcoming cover of the Advocate. Cool.

Why We are the Board for Spinsters and the Married Men Who (Pretend to) Love Them

Maybe so, but dismissing marriage and kids in a relationship off the bat limits your field pretty heavily; even many of the commitment-phobes don't want to admit marriage is off limits. I don't think I ever dismissed marriage but there was a time I did dismiss kids. Attitudes change, relationships develop.
Word to your mother. Not everyone wants kids and that can be a dealbreaker, so why not put it out there? I rapped with an online guy on the phone for al ong time and had great discussions. But the religion of our kids thing came up and I said no way would my potetntail offspring be raised to in that misogynistic, hypocrical institution you call Catholicism. Let them pick their religon.

That was that. A real timesaver, no?

You should be that straightforward in all your internet dealings.

It worked well for slave and shifter for awhile until shifter decided he was not a gay and slave got his heart shattered. The result has been childlike oversensitivty and an inability to laff at himself resulting in megamaniacal yet stealth post deletions.

Did you ever answer Paigow's question about what "dentata" means? Because I looked it up on dictionary.com and got no such word, and remain curious?
