Me too!
On this, the boringest day in FB history, I thought it appropriate to make a somber announcement. I have given it a lot of thought and have decided to retire from the internet-style Lawtalker lawyer chatting boards. I've learned a lot, I've laughed a lot, but ultimately, I believe it is time to move on. I will miss sharing my musical and grammatical insights and getting updated daily about who is sick and with what disease they have been stricken. And I will always have sweet memories of Friday Flame Wars and The Daintiest Petunia. Thanks to everyone for everything.
Peace out.

Look, I tried to throw you a retirement party last time. It wasn't my fault no one came. We had the cake, the hats, and the toys all ready.
I'm afraid the cake's now stale, Hank's been wearing the hats one after the other and they all have lice, and I can't find the toys anywhere (RT?). I don't think we can even try to have a party this time.
So, I'll just say, we wish you well, and send you off with a few dainty flowers.

Opposites
A few days before Christmas, I went out with my friend Vanessa for a glass of wine and some gossip about the divas on Project Runway. A friend and client of Vanessa's, Misty, joined us. Misty was pretty much what I always thought someone named Misty would look like, blonde, perfect shape, too perfect breasts, and pretty. Misty and Vanessa met because Misty likes to date wealthy men who buy her new expensive wardrobes. She was at Vanessa's shop that day because she's looking for something to wear to the AVN awards.
Anyhow, the cute chef of the pub we were hanging out in came out to say hi to Vanessa and Vanessa introduced us to him:
"These are my friends Misty and RT. They are complete opposites but I love them dearly. RT..."(I smiled)"..is a lawyer. Misty.. "(she smiled)"...is a Playboy playmate."
I had no idea that "playmate" was opposite of "lawyer."
Sorry guys, I didn't catch what year/month Misty made her appearance in, but she's 31, and she confessed to me that she's over her divorce and ready to start looking again.

No worries. After all, how many "Misty"s can there be that have appeared in men's magazines?
Less will consult the archives and have it tracked down within about an hour.

Can anyone give me an Amazing Race update?

Amazing Race Update:
Kris is hot as balls and is basically my dream girl in every way. Sadly it seems like she goes for the blonde swimmer-types.
Kendra looks amazing in a bathing suit.
Hera is GORGEOUS, but got eliminated.
Victoria was pretty hot in Playboy but that was some time ago.
Hayden would be a stand-out in many places in this nation, but is a bit out of her league with this group.
Rebecca does nothing for me, though she's kinda spunky.
Am I forgetting anybody?

The National . . . Football . . . League
Public Service Announcement.
Here's my thoughts regarding week one of the NFL Playoffs.
St. Louis at Seattle (-4): I don't see how the Seahawks win this game barring about 5 interceptions. Their defense cannot stop anyone when it matters. The Rams have their problems, great big ones, but I think they've got enough to beat this Seattle team. Add the four points, and that's my pick. Tread lightly though.
Jets at San Diego (-7): Pick of the Year. When will this Chargers team get some respect? Jets will have no answer for LT, no answer for Gates, no answer for Brees. And if the Jets fall behind early, which they likely will (SD has scored a huge number of first-drive touchdowns), well Chad Pennington is no Peyton Manning. Lay the 7 points, Chargers win going away.
Speaking of which . . .
Denver at Indy (-10): Well last year the Colts won in the first round against Denver 41-0. And this year they're better . . . and Denver's worse. Lay the 10 points.
finally
Minny at GB (-6): Avoid betting on this game unless you absolutely have to. In a normal league, you'd say all the momentum favors GB, and that the Vikings are self-destructing, and you'd load up on the Packers. However, this is the NFL, where about 40% of the time, the exact opposite happens. Has Randy Moss been trying to lull opposing defenses to sleep by faking injuries, just biding his time until the playoffs? I don't really think Al Harris can cover a healthy Randy Moss. And remember the Packers' "tackling" in Week 16 . . . . still, I'm leaning towards GB-6.
Best bet: Tease SD and Indy 7 points and bet the house.

Limited Time Only
I moved into my new condo (sans ex-Mr.-Kiss) and I have not yet put up my blinds/window "treatments." I have large windows and a baby grand. I don't like clothing. Limited time only.
