They still suck (although I'd see 50 Phish shows before I'd see Tool).
I think Metallica's drumming is good because its effective. It just pounds the songs forward. The dude from Rush is always trying too hard - too many beats all over the place. That's only good if you're a jazz drummer... or you're Keith Moon.
The best of the best was John Bonham. The Zeppelin BBC sessions are insane. Listen to the drums on Thank You.

Kenny Aranoff is likely the best drummer alive today. That he played for so long with John Mellencamp is a travesty.

I was going with no pants at all. Not just your average German man wearing a Speedo and a tee. White T and zero bottom coverage. Seriously, if a burglar broke into your house and you for some reason found yourself sleeping in that, could you even confront him? With a gun? Completely naked I kick his ass. But t-shirt and no pants I hide in the corner and scream like a girl.

And every drummer likes Tool b/c their music is so mathematical. It sounds like random crap to me, by my drummer buddy has sat me down and "counted" through a few of their tunes to show me how organized their music is. Apparently they are phenomenal musicians.

Yeah, but how was he in the sack?

I wholeheartedly agree. An abomination.
I do not like it in a box
I do not like it with a fox
I do not like it in a house
I do not like it with a mouse
I do not like it here or there
I do not like it anywhere
I do not like the pantless man
I do not like it, Sam-I-am

That is so hot.
So, you have said that you can kick ass totally naked and that you cry like a baby if wearing t-shirt but otherwise naked. What about if you are totally naked except for socks? Or oven mitts, if you weren't lucky enough to get the fringe equivalent of garlic before wal-mart ran out.
I'm guessing that totally naked but for socks, some cheesy music kicks in and you, the burglar, Sequels and the roommate have an orgy.

I shouldn't post and compose this motion at the same time. Need to focus on one or the other.

Wrong. The music is actually pretty good.

Metallica, pounding the action forward? Might want to check with Sequels on the desirabilty of the pounding thing.

Why are you watching gay porn? Does sockless man on man action make you hot?

Reality Lawyers TV
It was only a matter of time... from realityblurred:
Quote:
FOX will air The Partner, a show "in which a group of newly minted lawyers will battle each other to win a job as a partner in a major law firm." Two teams will compete against each other, "one made up of Ivy League grads, the other consisting of players who attended less prestigious schools," according to Variety. They "will compete by serving as prosecutors or defenders in mock trials inspired by actual cases. A jury of real people -- selected by the lawyers/contestants -- will determine the winner of each trial." The show will air late this summer or next fall.
|
What sort of "major law firm" would make one of these kids a partner? Sounds suspicious.
