I am not watching gay guy porn on a daily (or even monthly) basis, but it holds roughly the same level of interest for me as straight porn, with a little extra maybe the first time or so b/c of the novelty factor -- two guys having sex is not something I'd ever personally experienced.

Dolly's version is better. It just depends on what kind of voice you prefer. If you like that over-the-top "look at my range" Xtina type of song, then you would probably like Whit's version. Dolly has (or had) the range - she just doesn't display it or abuse it every chance she gets. Moreover, Dolly's version has some emotion behind it. It's not just a vehicle to manifest her talent. The latter is a reason why many lesser technical singers are still regarded as great singers. Neil Young's voice is pretty awkward, but you can tell that the words he sings are very important to him. He means them. Whitney sang that song to showcase her talent. Dolly probably sang it about someone. And meant it. You can tell the difference.

I gotta say that this post is so full of crap I found it hard to read.

Whitney's version is not an "over-the-top, look at my range, xtina" version. It is simple and powerful. She does not go up and down, switching octaves, trilling, warbling, quavering or going through runs to show off just to show off (like so much R&B crap you hear today). In fact, the major criticism she got throughout her career and especially with this song in the black community was that she didn't showcase her voice in that way (until she recently caved to that criticism and sold out the opposite way).

And there is huge feeling in the song. Just because she is crisp, clear and powerful doesn't mean there is no emotion. The difference in style does not amount to a lack of feeling on her part.

Dolly's version was good. Whitney's version was unbelievable. The only reason why most people can't stand it is because it was played 10 million times (that and the fact that it is Whitney). She's right. She owns that song. No one, including me, wants to hear her talk like that. But it was like it was written for her. And her superior talent is showcased perfectly through it.

Please note that the bitch is still a coked out nut job.
