Darn right. This partner just interrupted my consumption of a protein shake and a zillion vitamins by telling me that she *needed* me to be on a conference call. Do it yourself bitch. I don't have the bandwith for conference calls.
I think she is from Long Island.

And then you translate it, much as you do with everything else, exaggerate it and bring it here to make some ridiculous point.
2. I find it discomforting that you think you speak for New Yorkers other than the upstate ones, since you live hours outside of the city. But then again, you speak for lawyers and hedge fund managers without being one, so I guess I'm not surprised.
3. You are mixing up the words "sympathetic" and "pathetic" again.

If you are trying to get me to post less this sure helps.
1. I wish it was my "imagination" unlike being told I'm beautiful which is pleasant, people dumping their problems on me is unpleasant.
2. Are you going into a resent the commuter rant?
3. You are just as "pathetic" in your own way. If you aren't attacking me you are brawling with someone else. You live to brawl and that gets OLD.
As for bnb's post I will stop mentioning you in posts if you stop posting crap like you just did. deal?

Your nickname is "potential new board motto."
ETA shit, we're in a timewarp again. On the plus side, a quick change to punctuation makes me look psychical.

I asked them to change the board clock since it was off so much. I kept showing up to meetings five minutes early. That had to stop.

And they have lower inventory costs because the book isn't on their shelf. And they probably have lower labor, real estate, etc. costs So their return on equity could still be higher.
Not to mention any favorable deals the publisher gives them because they know that it will increase sales, resulting in best-seller placement.

I wasn't clear. I understand that it's possible that Amazon is making more money selling books at $21 than book stores are selling at $35. I was hoping someone on the board had actual knowledge of the industry and could explain what's going on.

The publishers are in on it, by virtue of a significant stake in different publishing companies held by a wealthy Siberian nomad through holding companies in Malta, Cyprus and Mauritius. It was all planned a couple of centuries ago, when the Danes created the first internet system and realized its book selling possibilities.

That's what I'm talking about.

NYers are very needy and lonely although they operate under a facade of toughness. They trap you in the bathroom and the coffee kitchen and let it pour out.
